The_Hesitation Who would win. Samus Aran or Dante from Devil May Cry I think Samus would. She could go in morph ball and drop a power bomb. While she's in Morph Ball, Dante's trying to hit her, hitting the ground instead.

Dante may have kickass skills and a cool sword, but Samus gots a hell load of weaponry that would just crush Dante.
So I say samus would win.

as stated above, Dante's gotta sword. his sword cannot pierce Samus's tough Chozodian armor. Samus has a gun attached to her arm with unlimited ammo and a s**t load of missiles. biggrin
|

It's hard to say. Dante has regenerating wounds, and doesn't fatigue like humans, he can take a few hits from Samus's arsenal without trouble. Not to mention that Dante's Devil Trigger form can do mass amounts of damage to anything.
I guess it depends on the situation.

I say Samus.
Dante has that Devil Trigger crap, but you figure, nothing from his world is made of Chozodian technology. His tech is ancient compared to Samus'
Not to mention, Samus has an array of Melee based moves from Melee and her Screw attack leaves her invulnerable untill she stops. I most definatly go wih Miss Aran.
Besides that, it's guy versus gal and well.... GIRL POWER!

There's no way dante could dodge a missile barrage that samus could launch...Samus would own dante before he got within fifty feet.

Dante couldn't stand against Samus' missiles, power bombs, or phazon beam for more than 3 seconds, and if there was no phazon around, she was out of missiles and power bombs, she could use her beams. Plus Dante's sword is no match for chozo armor. I mean, Samus could destroy, no, massacre, even the "mighty" space pirates. Not to mention how hard it is to hit a moving morph ball. Dante would be blown to bits before he walked 2 feet. Dante= burning_eyes . Samus= rofl

Samus's Speed Booster and Crystal Flash pretty much guarantees her the win.
Moving as mach speeds with the Speed Booster, Dante can't hit her.
With the ability to regain health at will with the Crystal Flash, she virtually can't die.
Besides that, her overall offensive power is far greater than Dante's.

Even though this seems like an even battle, I personally have to say that it's one sided in favor of Samus. She has more than enough firepower to destroy anything in her path...
If she can destroy a (MP3C Spoiler) Phazon powered bionic computers with death rays, tentacle blasts and dark samus clones, I think she can take on Dante...
I mean, come on...
How many planets has she totally oblitherated in the series? three last I checked (Spoiler MP3C Planet Phaaze, Super Metroid Planet Zebes, Metroid Fusion BSL and SR38 cool
What's to stop her from destroying ANOTHER planet with Dante on it?
