This role play is sure to defy a lot of the rules you go by, but it's something I really enjoy.
Now instead of playing your own character's we each play one character, and basically write a story together. One person with post their heart out until they get a block, and then the next person can pick it up. Now I don't want you just popping in an posting "and he dies... The end" I want you putting some heart into this rp.
Story line:
There was a sorcerer a long time ago, that owned a book with every spell imanginable, including the deadly ones. He lived by this book, and protected it with his life, he was a strong sorcerer only using the harmful spells when it was needed desparately. One day the evil king Haulac The Third requested the book from the socerer, but when the man would not even let it out of his sight, the king sent his men after him. The socerer saw this comming and hid the book. The king's men over powered the old man, and killed him when he refused to tell them where the book was. They searched high and low, every spot of the city for that book. The king would not let any of them rest until it was found. Which it was, it was found locked up in a cave. The men took the book to the king, and he now has been using it to fufill his evil needs. Creating creatures from the book, horrid ones, minions for his army.
A man who was a great friend of the sorcerer took it under his duty to recover the book, and put away it's powers, and lock it up until a great sorcerer comes once again like the one before, to help their land. This is his adventure to finding the book. Can he suceed? What will he find along the way? Who will he find along the way? These thing are all up to the willing writers. Are you daring enough?
Rules:
1. No sex period. Kay thanks.
2. It's okay to maybe add a character or two along the way as long as the focus is on him.
3. Please try and follow the plotline up there. That's all I ask. Just don't change his quest.
4. We are all playing one character, so make sure that you READ what other people posted.
5. Please put some effort into it, I would hate to see a oneliner in here. Writer's block is okay, I only want you posting when you feel up to it.
6. Write as much as you want, but keep it to one post, unless no one posts for a while.
7. Work with me... xD

The main character's bios:
Name: Grailis O'Mare
Age: 24
Appearance: Tall man, strong build, olive skin with deep brown eyes, his hair a long brown cropped just under his ears. He carries his pack with him everywhere he goes, a sword is strapped to his belt. He is pretty tall, but can hide easily. On the back of his neck is a tatoo of an S.
Personality: Grailis can find humor from a few people, but he can also be very untrusting when it comes to strangers. He always looked up to the Sorcerer, but never thought it as his calling. He's quick to defend himself, phsyically or verbally. He is also strongwilled.
Quest: To find the book, and bring King Haulac down.
History: Grailis grew up in a small city, visiting the sorcerer often. He'd been taught by his father who once was a swordsmen, how to fight with a sword. He knew one day he'd have to protect his family, but this adventure wasn't in his plans. (More to come as rp goes along.)
Weapon: The sword that stays at his hipside, it's long blade that gets larger near the middle and then sharp at the point. It's engraved to look like dragon scales. The handle is a dragon's head with two red gems for eyes.

Name: King Haulac The Third
Age: 67
Appearance: King Haulac has deep untrusting blue eyes, with greying hair that is covered by his crown, he sports a curly beard that isn't that long, you can see the redish streaks in his bread. He wears long royal red robes, with golden emblishes. He is never seen without his crown, and a scowl on his people.
Personality: Cruel, Untrusting, loves causing people pain, he's got his people too scared to do anything to him. He makes sure that he has some one test his food every time before ever letting it touch his lips. He is a very powerful man, and loves to show it.
Quest: To over rule a lot more land.
History: King Haulac was raised in his castle, and he became a very mean person starting at birth. His older brother Cireth, was meant to be the king, and this always made Haulac upset, and as soon as he got old enough to take the crown, his brother Cireth dissapeared, and he became the king. Wondering what other ways he could take over land.
Weapon: The book from the socerer, and his army of men, and creatures.

Creature listing:
Name of creatures: Blinkz
Skills/power: This creature stays in the darkness, always watching what ever passes it's sight, it attacks when it believes it's opponate is unready.
Weakness: Light, making it hard to hide in the dark.
Other: They hunt in packs.

Grailis set out for his first time to hunt for the book. He kissed his mother's cheek, and shook hands with his father. He hopped that everything would be okay at home, and that he wouldn't have to worry about them. He then took a map to the castle, it was a long ways from their small city. And there was a long stretch of forest trees ahead of him. He stood outside the overbearing trees, and looked at them, it was now or never, there was no turning back after this. He then treked into the forest, making sure he had everything, he would make camp in a few hours as the sun began to set, he was heading out later than he'd hoped. He made sure to watch his surroundings, and make sure nothing was going to attack him, every now and then he'd see something move in the woods....

After a while he'd found a good clearing, the sun was settleing into the horizen, and he watched it for a good moment or two. He then begain to pitch his tent in the darkness. The night would have been a silent one if it weren't for the crickets that made their nightly music. He lay in his hard bed on the gound of his less than sheltering tent, and he listed, any noise that didn't sound correct would awaken him instantly. He slept with his eyes open, though no one would get close enough to know that.
