 | Welcome | Rules | Art Rules | Frequently Asked Questions | Warnings and Consequences | As with other guilds, we do have rules and regulations that need to be followed. We don't want the guild to be reported, after all. Please read all of these carefully and thoroughly, so that we don't have any problems or misconceptions. Feel free to PM the guild mule, AA Mule, with any problems. You may also direct any problems or questions directly here at this thread. For now, I'm not going to lock it.

 | Welcome | Rules | Art Rules | Frequently Asked Questions | Warnings and Consequences | - Please abide to all Gaian Terms of Service. - You must use proper capitalization and punctuation in your posts. No exceptions. We are a literate art guild; a break from the Picture Post. - Do not use chatspeak. - Ask permission from me, melocure, before making any official threads, or official threads that do not pertain to anything within the guild, or Gaia. When in doubt, ask a mod. - Please be as literate as possible in this guild. We are not a chatterbox. - Include a poll with every post. - You may chat in the main forum, but please refrain from 'spam' posts, until we get a spam subforum. - Please direct all picture posts to the Picture Post forum. - Do not PM questions about the guild directly to me or any moderator; please use the guild mule. - Do not use chatspeak. - Please don't ask to be bumped up to Crew; I choose people whom I trust, and have known for a long time. - Do not fight on these boards. Please take all fighting to PMs. Any fighting will result in an immediate deletion of your post and a warning. - Please don't quote long, long posts. - Don't stretch the page, if you can help it. If you're posting a large image, please shrink it down, and you may opt to provide a link to the full sized image. - Please don't beg for art. - Write 'I am an avid artist' at the end of your join request if you have read this. - Did I say do not use chatspeak?
Please note that by joining and posting your art/threads in this guild, you have agreed to these rules, and are liable to any concequences that come with breaking these rules.
Please remember to use proper grammar. This is a literate art guild. We are not the Chatterbox. If I, or one of the mods continually see you using improper grammar, we will give you one warning. If you continue to not capitalize sentences, do not use punctuation, ect, we refrain the right to remove you from the guild roster.

 | Welcome | Rules | Art Rules | Frequently Asked Questions | Warnings and Consequences | - No sexually provocative pictures. Tasteful nudity is allowed, but sex scenes, or anything sexually graphic is not permitted. - You may post whatever style of art you like. All medias are accepted; for instance, watercolors, charcoal, mechanical pencil, ect. - You may ask for art freebies, but please do so when we get the proper subforum. - You may open art stores in the new Art Shop forum. =D - Please do not post just scribbles. Put a little work into your art. - If you use a specific image for a pose, YOU MUST CREDIT THE ORIGINAL IMAGE/ARTIST. If you cannot include a name, include a link to the picture. If you do not have a link, simply state that you used a reference for the post. - You may set up art tutorials to help other members in the Picture Post forum. - I reserve the right to delete your image without notice if I find it to be breaking the rules here, or the rules created by Gaia. - You may post as many threads as you wish per day in the art forum. You may include a maximum of 2-3 actual pictures in each thread, to keep it from stretching the page, or making your post too long. There is no limit for links to images in a thread, however.
Break down: Say you have a clump of four drawings to show off, but it will take to long to post each individual drawing in each thread. You may opt to make a new topic, post two drawings in that topic, and then post the other two in a message responding to that same topic. That is completely okay.

 | Welcome | Rules | Art Rules | Frequently Asked Questions | Warnings and Consequences | Before you email a moderator about a question of yours, please take a look here, to make sure that it hasn't already been answered.
Question: Why was my application rejected? Answer: Most likely, it was either because it was riddled with spelling mistakes, one of the mods did a background check on your past posts, or your application was too vague. We have high grammar standards here, and if your application is done horribly, it gives us a bad first impression of yourself.
We have also instigated a new tidbit of information that must be included with your application, to make sure you have read the rules thoroughly. You are automatically denied if this is not included in your application. We do, however, welcome you to apply again in two weeks. Do not send your application to any of the guild mods, asking for a second chance before the two week waiting period is up. Otherwise, any subsequent applications that you may submit to the guild with automatically be rejected.
Question: I recieved a warning. Why did I get one? Answer: There are many reasons why you recieved a warning. One of the mods may have noticed a streak of illiteracy with your posts, or you may have chosen to ignore previous reminders given to you before you recieved the warning. Take a look through our rules to make sure that you can refrain from breaking them in the future.
Question: I was banned! Answer: You either broke a serious rule, or you were banned because of inactivity. We don't want inactive members cluttering the guild roster. You may have also recieved your 'three strikes', or three warnings from any of the guild moderators. We keep close track of who has been warned, and the moderators are informed right away of any infractions.

 | Welcome | Rules | Art Rules | Frequently Asked Questions | Warnings and Consequences | In this guild, we strive to keep the utmost standards of grammar, conversation, and artwork. We are a break from the usually illiterate Picture Post forum for those who are serious about their art. In order to join this guild, you need to have an understanding of the guild rules, and follow them in stride.
If any of the mods find that you have broken a rule, depending on the seriousness, action will be taken. You may recieve a warning from any of the guild mods. They do not come from just me.
You are allowed three warnings in this guild. After that, you will be permanantly banned. Three strikes and you're out.
Actions that will get you a warning:
- Repeated illiteracy, even after being reminded. - Continuing to break guild rules. - Fighting on the guild boards. - Continuing to create threads without polls, even after being reminded. - Creating official guild threads without my OK.
Actions that will get you instantly banned, no warning:
- Stolen artwork/poetry/ect. - Offensive racial slurs. - Any threads flaming the mods, or other guilds. - Harassment of any sort, verbal or sexual.
Please do not mistaken 'reminders' for warnings. You will know if you have recieved a reminder, over a warning. If you recieve a warning, it will say "AA Warning" in the title.
