- No sexually provocative pictures. Tasteful nudity is allowed, but sex scenes, or anything sexually graphic is not permitted.
- Please do not bump in your threads. This includes using emoticons.
- You may post whatever style of art you like. All medias are accepted; for instance, watercolors, charcoal, mechanical pencil, ect.
- You may ask for art freebies, but please do so when we get the proper subforum.
- Please do not post just scribbles. Put a little work into your art.
- You may set up art tutorials to help other members.
- I reserve the right to delete your image without notice if I find it to be breaking the rules here, or the rules created by Gaia.
- Graciously accept critique for your art. Not everyone may like your piece, and you must be prepared to hear it.
- Submit your a** off. We have no rules to how many submissions you can post per day. Post your entire dA gallery and then some if you wish.
Tips when criticizing art:
- Let the artist know what you did not enjoy about the piece. Please do not just say "I don't like it". Include a reason.
- Include a few tips on how the artist could improve the piece.
- Be kind about it.
- If there is a part of the piece that you did like, include that in your critique as well. As Stewie from Family once did, make a "Compliment Sandwich": Compliment, critique, compliment.
Not everyone here is the next Monet, Renoir, or Hokusai, so please put that into consideration.
