The clean mountain river made its way down the valley and that into the plains the river became more salty as ventured into the sea to become part of it. As you near the sea she smell of salt hangs heavy in the air, sea bird call rounding the rocky cliff/hills you sea dolphins playing far out at sea, seals, sea lions leaping and bounding near shore. Green plants align the hills growing scace at the beech, and intresting creatures lie in wait in the sea. A new world lives in the ocean, this is were the River meets the Sea. The waves are calm so it seems white foam on the beach shore as the water rolls onto the land. This is a secret Alcove where water wyrms roam of sea and river, up river in the mountains there is the lake source for the river.

Merric made his way swimming through the glorious sea his transparent silver webbing catching the sun even under the water. Swirls decorated his light sea green body with light star like figures. Merric launched himself out of the water then dived deep back in. The sea oh the sea. It made him feel so alive when he was under water. Yes he could walk on land but it wasn't the same as swimming oh yes he loved the feeling of slicing through the water. Merric was lord of the sea he loved it. Silver horns adorned his head the caught what light that pierced through the waters. Merric had two long whiskers on his nose silver claws. Merric’s watery hide shone like the stars.

Merric began to swim near the shore for some unknown reason. He still leapt out of the water in fun scales glimmering in the mid day sun. He rose and he dived for the shear joy of it. When he got to close to the shored he stopped and looked around under the waters. A large female water wyrm and her chosen a young mermaid with black hair. He had seen such creatures at sea as well the had underwater cities in his domain. She female wyrm looked more like a river wyrm than a sea wyrm. “Good day” Merric called from a far two the wyrm and her bonded. “What brings you to the glorious sea?” he asked them both.

"The entire Sea is my territory" he told her wistfully pulling his entire head out of the water a good length. "It is my home, but you are welcome in it." Merric said politely. "I am Merric" he smiled and bowed his head to the female and her bond. He had nothing against the humanoids and showed them the same respect. "May I question you for your names ladies?" he smiled charmingly. Although that was rather an accident he wasn't normally charming.

True enough, I am only one in a large sea. I do what I can. Merric agreed grinning back A true pleasure to meet you Ata and you Amai he smiled adressing them both. Merric whipped his tail back and forth under the water. He was pleased she humanoid found him intresting. Nay, No family nearby they all died long ago. I am alone He explained to Amai his head bobbed up and down in the current of the water. What about you do you have any family? he asked intrested You have been the first water wyrms I have seen in such a long time. He grinned happily seeing the others.

Merric nodded to Ata I cannot remeber my parents at all. Least you have your adopted family, I have none. Merric looked slightly sad for a moment.

He looked to Amai perhaps I can find them in the sea for you. I know were the underwater cities are. he said thoughtfully If you would like of course. he added bowing his head. The rest of his body came out of the water and he looked like as a sea serpent would.

I should enjoy meeting your neice he smiled to Ata Ah how nice it is to see others of one's kind he agreed with her. It is indeed nice to see you Ata. He thought for a moment Nay I have no bonded, I have surrvived alone.

Merric smiled I wont be sad then the said to Ata Ther ewas some sort of acciedent that prevented him from remebering them he himseld was an increasingly strong sea type.

Merric nodded. I am a wyrm of the sea I know were their beautiful underwater cities lie on the rocky eas bed. I have explored them. He smiled seeing how happy she was becoming. I don't know what your family looks like but I can lead you to the cities.

Merric leapt up into the air twisting his long body then dived back toward the sea with grace and beauty. He raised his head above the water once more I will show you the way if you so desire

Of course we can go Merric smiled happily for the first time in a long time he had some one to show his underwater world to and one of his own kind and her bonded The nearest city is the city of golden coral he told the young mermaid I know not the true name of the city. the farther back out to sea he swam the deeper he went.

for a long while they swam deeper many different species of fish swam by them. Lights not to far ahead marked the golden city he sought to show the young mermaid and Ata. Ah there it is he grinned widely THe male wyrm slowed down back to their speed and swam on the otehr side of Amai.

Merric gave a draconic smile to the mermaid It is indeed Rysilana he said remebering its name Shall we explore the coral city? he asked her she seemed to reconize it perhaps this was were her parents lived. The sea moved differently than the clean rivers Merric began to spiral around the city towers the otehr merfolk regarded him with curiousity wondering why a wyrm such as himself would be here. Merric knew little of the mer tounge.
