 Welcome to, 'Valentine's Day Festival.' A LITERATE Naruto Roleplay. Come and join and have some fun Roleplaying as your favourite character! <3
It's a week to Valentine's day, and everyone's in a rucus. The news have just been let out by the Hokage, (Tsunade) that there will be a Valentine's Day Dance held on the night of Valentine's day. But the thing is.. There's a twist. The ONLY way anyone can get into the dance is to go with a date.
The Sensai's, (Kakashi, Kurenai, Gai, and Asuma) Get together and start coming up with a plan. Those evil little people! They want to start getting some match-making on the go, and they'll do whatever it takes to get their girl's the perfect date in time for the dance.
The four girls, (Ino, Sakura, Hinata, and Tenten) Have been getting together ever since they had heard the news. Going out shopping to find the perfect dress, makeup, jewelery, and rejecting guys who randomly ask them out. Will they find a perfect dtae in time for the dance?
What about the guys? What will they do to impress the girl they want? Who will they have to fight to take their gal to the Dance? Will blood be shed.. Or will something else happen to change the girl's minds?
[[In this RP all the characters are 15, with an exception of Team Gai. Sasuke has returned from the Sound, and has finished his revenge. The girl's, (Ino, Sakura, Tenten, and Hinata) have all become good friends over the past years. Knowledge of the Character: Short pink hair, (Used to be long before it was cut in the Chuunin exams) Emerald eyes. Teammates with Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto. Sensai is Hatake Kakashi. Sakura has been trained under Tsunade, and also has an 'Inner Mind.'

Roleplay Sample: Sakura's eyebrow's twitched in annoyance. Naruto was busy yapping his mouth off while Sakura sat inpatiently, waiting for their, 'I got lost on the road of life' Sensai, Kakashi. Sakura sighed inwardly. Kakashi was late for everything. Late coming to meet the team, late for his 'dates' that the old pervert went on. As if the guy ever went on one. -How did Sasuke return? Did he come back of his own free will, or did Naruto and Sakura bring him back?

[[-yawn- Midaswell start it. No one else has joined.]]
It was a pretty nice day in Kohana. Bird's were singing, the sun was shining, and- OH!- Look at Haruno Sakura down there! You know, the one with pink hair, emerald eyes? Well.. from the look of her face, and deathly white fists, I say she's mad. Very mad.
"The nerve of that guy." She muttered angerly, stomping her feet as she walked in the middle of Kohana's main road. "He actually expected me to accompany him to the dance looking like that!" She said, eye's ablaze. The poor people who were also on the Main Street were all pushing to the right and left side. Making a nice path for the angered kunoichi. At least they knew what was good for them if they wanted to live another day.
She abruptedly stopped walking, the other people all froze in their spot, a poor little kid dropping the ice-cream off his cone. She narrowed her eyes, and started walking up the street; The poor citizens letting out a breath of relief, and the poor kid crying over his lost ice-cream.
She knocked on the door three times. 'Common Tenten, please be home,' She begged in her mind.

((This is gonna be like Sand in my Shorts, won't it? D: Nuuuu.....ah well.))
SIGH.
It didn't make sense. This damned television had 600 channels. SIX HUNDRED! And guess what? Nothing -NOTHING- good was on.
Knock Knock Knock!
"Yes! People!"
"Coming!" Tenten called as she clicked the little red 'POWER' button on the remote. The TV clicked off, and she stodd up, rushing towards the door. She opened it slightly, and the instant she saw pink, she smiled, and opened the door all the way.
"Hey, Sakura! Wha-" Yes, she was noticing Sakura's angry expression right about now. "...um...Is everything okay?" she asked, a little frightened (Angry Sakura was NOT a good thing to deal with), yet concerned. After all, Sakura and Tenten were good friends nowadays. With Lee begging to go see Team 7 so he could attempt to ask Sakura out -and fail EVERY time- and some other crazy dealie, Tenten had gotten to spend a lot of time with Sakura.
So yes, she was very concerned when a pissed Sakura was visiting her house.

She smiled slightly when she saw Tenten. 'Yes! She's home!' She cheered silently in her mind, the anger gradually dropping from her face, and sighed.
"Yeah, everything's okay." She said, and hugged her arms closer to her body. Realizing that it was indeed, cold out, for a normal February day. 'I can't believe that I was asked, again, to that dance by another.. weirdo.' She thought, rubbing her arms now with her white glove-covered hands, and glanced down at her attire.
She was wearing a white sweater, with a light pink, winter vest, ontop. And jeans that were tucked inside her beige boots, (The boots are about half way below her knee) that at the rim, had dark brown fur mixed with the odd white ones for decoration.
'Should've worn something warmer.' She scolded herself silently. "Just the normal day, weirdo's asking you to the dance. Fun stuff." She said finally, after the moments pause. "Guess I just got a little worked up over it." She said softly, and laughed weakly.

With the blue quarter sleeve top that Tenten was wearing, she felt the cold air rush against her, making the revealed section of her arms shiver. She mentally cursed when she saw goosebumps form. She quickly stepped to the side, and motioned for Sakura to come in.
"Come in and make yourself at home, Sakura," she said with a smile. One Sakura was in, she quickly closed the door. She walked past the small living room area, and into the walk-in kitchen.
"Let me make you something warm...it's cold out. We can chat over some tea...or hot chocolate, if you prefer that," she half stated, half asked, raising a few chocolate bars. It wouldn't take long to melt them with some water and have homemade hot chocolate. Hell, Tenten even had marshmallows in the snack cabinet somewhere.

Sakura smiled, and took off her gloves. "Sure! Hot Chocolate sounds great!" She said, and watched as Tenten disappeared into her kitchen.
Once Tenten was out of sight, she bent down to take off her boots. Slipping both off silently and putting them to the side, not wanting to make the puddle from her boots anymore bigger. She quickly maneuvered herself out of the way of the little water puddle and unzipped her coat. Placing it on a nearby chair, and headed in the same direction Tenten did; To the kitchen.
"So how many people asked you so far?" She inquired, mentally trying to count all the men who had asked her with their.. perverted.. ways. She shivered slightly. It was pretty bad when an old geezer asked you to go to a Valentine's Day dance.

Tenten sighed as she fixed the hot chocolate. "Too many," she called from the kitchen. When she noticed Sakura coming into the kitchen, she lowered her voice to a normal volume. "It's why I started staying home."
Minutes later, Tenten set two mugs onto the table, both filled with hot chocolate with marshmallows to top it. She took a seat at the table, and smiled as the sweet scent of chocolate reached her nose. She pulled the mug up and took a sip, and immediately her goosebumps went away.
Setting the mug down on the table again, she looked off the the window on her right. She hissed softly when she saw light snow falling on the other side of the glass.
"Gee. It gets colder every year. The snow is usually all over with by now..."
She took another sip of her drink, and changed back to the topic at hand, "It's a shame. There are, like, hundreds of guys out there, and the ONE person you want to go to the dance with seems like the last person that's gonna ask you...Don't cha just wish you knew what they were thinking?"

She smirked slightly. "They keep giving me flower's everyday." She said, and rolled her eyes. "My house smells nice, but it's getting a little crowded." She sarcastically said, and sat down opposite of Tenten.
She blew on it slightly before taking a drink of the hot liquid. "Yum." She said, and placed the mug back down. It felt better than wandering around Kohana doing nothing, and running away from suitors.
"I know." She stated, and looked out the window. Silently watching the graceful snowflake's falling down a few feet away. "I don't know how Tsunade plans on having a dance when there's going to be snow on the ground. The womens' dresses will be ruined." She said, and shook her head slightly.
She herself still hadn't found a dress. She was hoping that someday this week the four girl's could all go out and find a dress.. if they, of course, didn't have one themselves already.
Sakura nodded. "Your right." She said, and leaned her head against her hand. "To me, it seem's like their kind of scared or something.. seeing us being asked by so many guys all over Kohana." She said, and giggled slightly. "Although.." She paused. "They're probably being bombarded by those crazy fangirls.." She winced. "At least we know what it feels like."

The young Genin was wondering around. He wanted to find his Angel, Haruno Sakura. He wanted her to be his, she was so pretty. Her pink hair was so pretty. Her greens eyes sparkled in the light. Everything was perfect about her. He sighed. Like anyone was going to like a guy with eyebrows like his.
As he walked around more he decided to train a bit. After all he always had to train right?
He had sighed a couple times, and then went to a tree, and climbed it. Once he made it to the top he began to jump down, and break off every branch that he could until he reached the bottom, but he was doing it extremely fast.
When he made it to the bottom he had gotten thirty branches, that wasn't enough for him. He sighed, and then walked toward another tree to to his "Training" all over again.
Once he was done with that he decided to go see his teamate TenTen. He figured that if couldn't find Sakura, then at least he could see TenTen right? He slowly walked over to her house, and knocked on the door, "Hello. Is anybody home?" He stood back waiting.

Tenten nodded. "Yep. I'll never tease Neji about fangirls again....EVER."
She had always teased the Hyuuga about the crowd of fans that would gather around to watch them train. She really DID think it was funny. It annoyed Neji to no end, and even SHE had gotten insults before. Like she was his girlfriend or something. "Yeah...I wish," she thought. But even though it seemed bad, it was amusing. But since the dance, Tenten get to take a step into Neji's shoes...and in his point of view...
It was NOT amusing.
Then she heard a knock on the door. She laughed lightly. "Wow. I'm getting popular. Excuse me for a second, Sakura!"
Tenten got up, and left the kitchen, into the living room. She opened a crack in the door, and seeing it was her teammate, opened it fully. "Lee! What brings you here?"

Sakura smiled slightly, and giggled. "Same here with Sasuke." She said.
It had become a.. ritual.. everytime Team Seven trained together, or went out somewhere, like to eat together at Ichikaru. (Which they would all eventually leave because Naruto wouldn't stop eating.) If Uchiha Sasuke was there.. be prepared to run as fast as you can.. because the stampede is coming. Anywhere he was.. his cursed fangirl's were following him. It was even worse when they were training and he'd end up taking his shirt off. Although Sakura wasn't complaining at all.
She sighed mentally. 'I just hope that he doesn't think that I'm a fangirl anymore.' She thought, and shook her head slightly. "Sure Tenten!" She said, hearing the knock also, and took a sip of her hot chocolate.
"Lee! What brings you here?" She heard Tenten say, and instantly froze in her spot. Thankfully, she had already put her mug back down or else it would have been all over white shirt. Which, if that did happen, the stain would never have come out.
'Oh no..' She screamed mentally. 'What do I do?' She thought, and closed her eyes tight. 'Please don't let Lee kill me. God, Please, I beg of you. I won't ever hit Naruto again, or.. or..' She prayed silently, her inner mind getting all worked up. Cracking her knuckles, and stretching. "Cha! Bring it, Fuzzy-Brows!" She had said, but Sakura remained perfectly silent and waited to see what would happen.
Maybe she wouldn't have to knock him out. Which.. since she was trained by Tsunade.. would probably hurt one heck of alot!

Lee paused for a moment, and then answered, "Oh I was just wondering around. I was looking for somebody, but oh well I thought I'd come, and see you." He smiled, and put his hand on her shoulder. He walked into the nice little place. He really had never been there before, "You have a nice place you know that." He gave his normal goofy smile, and went to sit down.
Once seated he looked over to Sakura, his angel...He imeadently said hi. He sighed hopeing maybe today she would ask him to be hers, "So how are you to day Sakura?" Hearts filled his eyes as he waited for her answer.
((I don't think Lee would just waltz right in, but I wanted to make my post a little bit longer then what it was at first...))

Sakura held her breath. 'Here he comes...' She thought, and started praying to God in her mind again.
"So how are you to day Sakura?" She heard him say.
She let out the breath she was holding, and slowly started to relax. "Er.. I'm pretty good, Lee." She said, and smiled weakly. 'YES! Thank you, thank you, thank you God!' She thanked in her mind, a mental image of her down on her hands in knee's bowing. 'IM ALIVE!'
Quickly realizing that she was alone with Lee, she started looking around for Tenten. 'No.. no.. this CAN'T be happening..' She thought drastically, and kept a keen eye out for Tenten.

Tenten was in the kitchen this instant Lee was. Why? Because Tenten figured that Sakura wanted Sasuke to ask her to the dance, not Lee. So far, Sasuke had NOT asked her to the dance...and almost everybody else did. So, Sakura was probably still annoyed. Lee + Annoyed Sakura = Not that good.
And Tenten cared for Lee. Really; he was her teammate and friend. It was a shame that Sakura would most likely never go for Lee, but Lee was a good guy, and he could deal.
She smiled, and grabbed a clean mug from a cabinet. "Lee, do you want some hot chocolate?"
