Short roleplay over pm with DarkBlooding and her little one Nyigu, DB is still seems to be getting the hang of roleplaying. Aadil certainly was left confused?
I didn't want to post this in my journal, I like the link style I've got going. Hopefully one day DarkBlooding Starts her own journal.

Aadil yawned quietly; she lay on her back looking up at the stars. The world had given her new experiences and she intended on enjoying every one of them. Sitting alone in the moonlight wasn't new, but the feeling of love was. She was in love with the gentlest, most caring lion in the world. But that also caused for confusion. Her eyes sparkled in the moonlight, reflective pools of thought.
"Gods give me a sign! Anything! Tell me what has been going on in my life!" she half purred half shouted into the night.

Nyigu paced the area quietly, he was scared and on top of that lost. "Mommy?" he whimpered into the night. His entire being couldn't be seen except for the traces of yellow in his fur. For being a little cub he really was lost, he couldn't find his mother or father. At the sound of a female voice his ears perked up, "Mommy?" he called again his voice a little more confident. He rushed toward the voice headlong slamming right into the side of Aadil's body. Skittishly he peered up at the fluffy mass.

"Hey! ouch that hurt! You wouldn't happen to be a sign would you?" she peered down at the little ball of fluff as it peered up at her. "Nope just a scared little creature, "hello little cub, what's your name?" her voice was soothing and less abrasive than when she was shouting.

"I'm Nyigu, I don't think I'm a sign. Have you seen my mommy?" tears started to form at the corners of his eyes. He wasn't sure if she was a bad thing or a good thing, she certainly was bigger than him and she could probably gobble him right up! He shivered scared and stepped backward away from her.

Aadil slowly flipped over into a crawling position and came face to face with the little cub. "Why you're not a lion at all are you?" she purred, "Nice name. I'm Aadil." She smiled sweetly. "No need to fear little one I wont hurt you. I don't know who your mother is, but I can help you look if you want?" she'd taken on her maternal tone of voice, soothing and a little bit stern. Maybe he was a sign?

"Aadil, you have a nice name too," his voice was awkward and bumbling. He sat down on his haunches staring at the older lion. "I'm a cheetah, mom says I could get lost in the dark. Because I'm black of course!" his teeth sparked as he smiled. What's a sign? he thought. "Mom said to stay put, but she didn't come back?"

"Where was the last spot you saw your mother, how about you show me?" she stood up and maternally hovered over the little cheetah cub. "Of course!" she giggled and looked down at him, he was awful cute! She hoped nothing bad had happened to the little guy's mother. If it had what would happen to him? it would be awkward for her to take care of a cheetah cub, wouldn't it?

"Follow me!" he had gotten caught up in being able to talk to someone new and his sadness at not being able to find his mother lessened. Well, not lessened it seemed to fade into the background of his mind. He was excited to have help finding his mother. So much so that he trotted off into the darkness, away from Aadil.

"Little punk? Where did you go! Aadil growled into the dark she was mortified that the little black and yellow cheetah would run like that, was he mad? "Come back Nyigu! Come back little man!" She chased off after him to no avail, the little cheetah had escaped her. "I hope you find your mother."

The sound of pounding paws against the ground echoed throughtout the dark savannah, and a soft snicker rolled through the air. He was gone, and that big lioness would have trouble finding him.
