When you make your choice you are transported here by Sin, and you are stranded on Besaid Island when Keppa, the goalie for the Besaid Aurochs finds you lying in the water and pulls you out and you wake up later to find the whole team including Wakka and Yuna, with Tidus talking to Lulu while Kimahari stands in the backround.

*Kirux wakes up and looks around profusely* "Whoah where am i and how did I get here....." *Yuna walks up and offers a hand* "Hi im Yuna Braska and these are my guardians Lulu, Wakka, and Kimahari..... and that young man back there is the son of one of my fathers guardians Jecht...." said Yuna "Jecht!" shouted Kirux "Thats my father so that means.... that kid over there is my brother..... but thats impossible.... my brother was killed when a large thing attacked Zanarkand so..... maybe we were sucked up into that large thing in the sky at the same time." "Hey!" shouted Wakka "The boats here." *They walked up onto the boat and sailed off while Kirux and the young man whos name he found out was Tidus talked about their hatred for their father.*
