I must say, my favorite character is Black Hayate. I think I might have spelt that wrong... AND I DON'T CARE THAT BLACK HAYATE IS EXTREMELY MINOR!!!

As for me... my absolute favorite character in the entirety of the Fullmetal Alchemist universe is... Maes Hughes. Surprise surprise. But he is so kawaii! He's so adorable whenever he's ranting on and on about Elysia, and yet he knows when to be serious when he absolutely has to. And he can't be beaten when it comes to using throwing knives!!!! If it were up to me, the events of anime episode 25/manga chapter 15 would never have occurred, or if they had to, Envy would be punished severely for it. (Six hundred sixty six guitars with all of their strings snapped simultaneously into Envy's forehead should suffice. twisted )
Other favorite characters include Ling Yao and Ran Fan. These two characters, introduced in chapter 32 of the manga, are ONLY in the manga. You won't find them in the anime. And they are so AWESOME!!! Ling is quite hilarious, fainting all the time and keeping up such a creepily cheerful mood when Ed is fuming, and Ran is one heck of a ninja girl. And they make such a cute couple together... it's too bad the events of chapter 54 occurred...
Yeah, um, I'm going to stop ranting now, because if I don't stop ranting, this post will become no longer worthy of this subforum and more worthy of the fangirlism subforum.

And I would be the third FMA fan, who just never got around to this thread. Mmm, my favorite? That's a good question. I've been a fan of Kimbley, Greed, Ed, Winry, Riza, Havoc, Feury, and others. I don't really have a favorite because of it.

o.O Umm, you can call me Cinna. The username Cinna had just been taken, so I looked up dozens of random Japanese words, eventually finding 'Hakkin'. I should have tried Kikei... that's my normal alternative. XP

Umm, guess what. I've never started an FMA roleplay before. And I really stink at starting roleplays unless I've come up with a plot. Which I haven't for FMA. I came up with one for a Naruto roleplay, and one for the main TMM roleplay. But there's nothing I've come up with for a Fullmetal Alchemist roleplay.
