I personally loved this game...after I figured it out. It was also a fact that I learned. That Squaresoft almost ended the Final Fantasy series with II because it was confusing. I'm rather glad they didn't biggrin

Thundaga Wolf People got confused with FF2? how? Me myself got confused by ending up going in the utmost wrong direction and killing my team before I even got to S--- whatever that town with the elves was called... Other's I'd assume got confused with the ability leveling up thing instead of actual levels. Who knows?

I took advantage of the lovely leveling system twisted
Just go to where some really weak enemies are (near the first town preferably) and proceed to beat the crap out of your own party.
Also there is a glitch with the magic system, as long as the character is not in the last spot have them select a magic to cast, cancel back to them and reselect the magic. Each time the choose to cast it they get points for the spell and points towards magic power. Using this I had Maria with level 7 fire and level 6 cure really early in the game. Firion also had good magic (not as good as Maria's though, because I'd rather him be a fighter) and Gus didn't because he was in the last spot most of the time so I couldn't use it on him.

I got used to it after a while. I didn't play it for the longest time 'cause the leveling up system ticked me off. ^^ I did okay after i learned to keep out of the swamp on the way to Fynn. ._. the monsters killed me. Repeatedly.

That leveling system is insanely easy to abuse. Just decide what you want their classes to be first and then train them accourdingly. Due to some skills getting weaker when some get stronger it may be impossible to make them masters of everthing, but that doesn't stop me from trying.... twisted

xd Yeah, none of my characters got past level 5 sheild.... Ricard was like, level 20 lances, Firion was level... 18 swords... Maria... i don't remember... maybe level 14 axe or fist... and Gus was either level 17 or 19 axe or fist or sword... one of 'em. 'twas fun... i got considerable hp from the force-leveling, too. but i never had patience for the magic... the only thing i really leveled the magic up (other than cure) was to see the next form of the magic.

They've had that new DS out, too... The DS Light, i think it is... I hope you can play original Gameboy games on this one. It ticked me off you couldn't play with the original square ones on teh DS.

Well I'm not going to sell my SP so I can still play my one gameboy color game... anyone know where I can find The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages? I have Seasons but I can't find Ages anywhere.... I check the used game stores all the time but they only have it when I don't have money...
