"Suggestions" dude. I hate to be a spelling and grammar nazi but it's the way I am.

Anyway, the two I can highly reccomend Planetarian and Narcissu. Another friend of mine said they also enjoyed Red Shift but I myself have not played it.

As for Eroge, I'd say start off with something like Figures of Happiness if you want drama and Heart de Roommate if you want comedy.

Considering of course I'm not going to give you information on how to find them, how you acquire said games is done on your own. The visual novels are available in the translation patch thread but the eroge is in other places.

Hm... Well before I say anything I'm going to ask what kind of anime you like, and what kinds of books (not graphic novels) you enjoy reading.

.//Something that you could just pick up at your local bookstore (such as Borders):
Hourglass of Summer or Phantom Brave.
They cost around $30 if I remember correctly.

They're non-hentai Visual Novels 3nodding

Phantom of Inferno... >.> Phantom Brave is the NIS tactical RPG that the Makai Kingdom system was spawned off of.

Anyway, yeah for comedy and romance basically if you just want to pick them up at a local store you'd want Tea Society of a Witch... for comedy anyway... Phantom of Inferno basically isn't comical at all, but it's fairly romantic and I actually loved the action in it, there's also a special set where you can get the animation with the game now. Aside from that Hourglass of Summer is a pretty damn romantic one, and it's fairly dramatic with a good amount of suspense.

Anyway othewise if you're willing to order it, Ever 17 is really great. It's romantic, suspenseful, and has a pretty interesting plot. YOu don't get the entire plot until you've played through all four normal "good" ending and then amke the right choices so you can go through a fifth storyline. It's quite interesting.

All of the ones stated so far are non-ero.

As far as ones with ero go you'll have to order all of them. Personally I like the ones from CROWD like X-Change, but those are pretty heavy on the h-scenes. Although they're amusing and have a good selection of characters.

Hm... remember the translation being perfect, but I never really had problems with it. Better than What happened with Phantom at least. Anyway, it's a good game if that's what you're asking, or were you talking about the anime?

I'm talking about the Visual Novel, I read the comments about the anime in this guild.

Well most of them you'd have to find them online or at conventions. Although some places you'll be able to find the Hirameki ones. Borders, Best Buy, and Sunvoast carry their stuff every so often. It usually mixed in with the other anime, but somtimes you'll find it near the manga. As far as Borders goes anyway. As far as Best Buy goes it's always mixed in with the anime, and I haven't really seen any at Suncoast, but I know that they're sold there.
