Do you think pirates of the caribbean 2 should be rated PG-13, because it wasn't really that scary to me!

I dunno. I think a 12 was right really. Maybe it was because of all the violence in it and swearing? I reckon there where some bits in the film that would scare smaller children. Like the pirates on Davey Jones ships and the kraken. Alot of people did die in the film aswell.

I was quite surprised by some of the stuff in the movie, particularly that bit at the beginning with the crow pulling a man's eye out, and Bootstrap whipping Will. My sister really hates scenes like that and was kind of upset by it, and she's 37. So I think PG-13 was an appropriate rating for it.

Yeah! The crow pecking a guy's out bit suprised me too. 3nodding I knew there was summit that made me go 'eh?' when I saw it.

Well, it scared my 9 year old cousin a bit (I think she liked it anyway). But typically a movie gets that rating also from the alcohol use and sexual suggestion.

The PG-13 is perfectly reasonable for the amount of violence and language.
And really, most series maintain a rating (except for Harry Potter and Star Wars) through their entire run.
