Mvumo woke up underneath a tree that he didn't recognize, on top of strange grass. He had been dreaming again about his family, and the happy times he had with them before he was separated from his homeland. Where was he? What was he doing here, mostly out in the open in a new land?
Memories of the night before flooded back to him, and he smiled contentedly. Aadil. Aadil liked him. He was loved again.

"Morning sleepy head," Aadil purred from behind him. "You've been sleeping forever I thought you'd died."
She sat in an opening in the trees that allowed her to sunbathe but still be consistantly hidden from anything that may be dangerous. She was cleaning her fur diligently and waiting for Sleepy Head, to wake up. Her dreams were riddled with thoughts of family and her mother, she missed her greatly.
"Did you sleep well?"

Mvumo grinned. "No, I'm not dead, Miss Aadil. I just had a very pleasant sleep..." Come to think of it, it was probably the first time in ages that he had actually slept the entire night. He just felt safe around Aadil. He didn't know why, but he wasn't complaining.
"And you, Miss Aadil. Did you have a good rest?"

"I slept great, dreamed of my mother," she a smirk spread across her maw. She stood slowly stretching her paws as fas as they could reach, soft popping sounds echoed as her spine ajusted.
"What do you want to do today?" her voice was a soft purr. Her tail flicked back and forth as she padded her way over to him.

"Your mother?" Mvumo asked, his strangely wide smile returning. "Strange...I dreamt of my mother as well..." There was something about watching Miss Aadil stretch that made him have the sudden urge to stretch as well. And stretch he did, giving his mane a good shake after stretching his neck and yawning widely.
"I would like to do...whatever you'd like to do, Miss Aadil," Mvumo said.

"Nope, I'm making you chose, what exactly would you like to do, anything at all?" Aadil smirks slyly, she was going to force him to make a decision, let's see if it'll work?
"What was your mother like?" she thought about what he had said, they both dreamed of their pasts, that's odd, she thought. He made her think of being happy and curled up in her cave. She'd like him to curl up with her...

Ah, now he was caught in making a decision. Would it be one she'd like? Would he mess up horribly and make her hate him? Would he actually make a decision instead of standing there looking stupid. "I think...a walk with you would be nice."
And now the mother conversation was brought up again. But Mvumo didn't mind talking about his family at this particular moment. "My mother was a strong lioness. I looked up to her, even when I was starting to grow taller then her."

"A walk would brea great," she smirked, he was so self conscious!, "You should relax, you cannot make a bad choice."
She looked around a moment and started to walk in the direction of her cave, she hadn't been 'home' in quite a while. Her movements were smooth and graceful. She really did seem to be getting her natural color back and looked quite healthy.
"Your mother seems like a wonderful lion, you must really love her," she said simply glancing at him.

"I will try, Miss Aadil," Mvumo said as he started his pace behind her. The mother conversation was taking a turn for the uncomfortable, but he'd manage. "She is dead now, though. I can only hope that I live out the rest of my life in a way that would make her proud."
"And you, Miss Aadil, must have a good mother, for she raised a lovely lioness," He said, turning his smile to her.

Aadil blushed furiously and looked down at her paws, "She did raise me well. She died when I was younger. We lived in that cave together for many years."
She continued walking her head spinning wildly with thoughts of her mother and his, "I'm sorry that your mother has passed away, may all the gods hold her and keep her. Maybe they're up thieir together looking down on us?"

"I am sorry," Mvumo said. "May the Storm God watch over your mother's spirit. Perhaps they are watching us. That would be comforting."
As he continued his stroll, Mvumo couldn't help but wonder how his luck had improved so vastly. "I understand, then, why that cave is so important to you. If you have land you can trust, it is a blessing."

She nodded quietly her eyes twinkling in the morning light. He was one of the best things to happen to her by far. "Where are you from?" She blurted out, the thought had been eating at her, "are you an angel sent from heaven? You appeared out of no where, and well.. I love you." she stammered. Heat rose in her face and if her fur was a few shades lighter she would look as red as a rose.
"I'm..."
