So, for all us uni-level students, it's about finals time.
For those in high school/middle school, I'm not sure when your finals are, though if you aren't having them now, I'm sure they're fast approaching.
How do you deal with exams/presentations around this time of year? Freak out? Study every waking moment? Sleep with your book beneath your pillow and hope to learn by osmosis? Papers/presentations, is it a last minute thing for you, or have you been working on them for a while already?
Basically, just a place to b***h about finals. Feel free to answer the questions if you want. My finals aren't so bad this semester, I've only got a few short papers to BS, a presentation on the effect of legalized gambling and casinos on the local economy, and a collage of world religions. So I'm good. biggrin

Even for finals I put in little studing. I already had my AP English exam today and that was easy so there is no need for me to waste time over copious amounts of studing on thses or any exams. My brain is a steel trap.

My university is year round, divided into sessions that are two months long. Otherwise speaking, my finals-panic happens once every seven weeks. If I actually let such both me, I'd be horrid to socialize with :]

I'm in high school, and I just took the AP Calculus test on Tuesday. xp Classes will be a little easier now that I have that over with.
For finals, usually I do a semester review - I look back through my book, skim through the material again, look for any notes that I took, tests, homework, etc. Finals are okay. I'm generally pretty good at regurgitating information while taking them. Since I'm lazy, though, I just hate homework. But that can always be fixed.

Exams wouldn't be half bad if I hadn't procrastinated for so long...
I have a research paper due Wednesday that I haven't even started. Haven't read half the books I plan on using, haven't decided on a clear thesis, haven't started writing... Maybe I should invest in some caffeine pills so I can actually stay alert doing the inevitable all-nighters.

Moihaha, I dont have final exams, even though I am in highschool. I do correspondance, so my final exams arent really final exams, more like...open book tests.

I never study for finals. Sure, I'll look over a few formulas, but that's about it.

I gots midterms. crying One last week, three this week, one next week. I usually study and write papers at the very last minute. It really works for me though, I'm better under pressure.
Whenever I have to stay up late, I drink lots of Pepsi. I haven't been getting much sleep lately, between studying and out-of-town composing sessions with the band. sad

My precal exam will be next week -- my teacher does all the graduation stuff, so we'll take our exam with the seniors. The rest of them are the week after.
I've never taken my exams before. My school has an absence-based exemption policy, and I was sick a lot this semester. I'm not too worried, though, having seen the reviews for the exams every year.

Fortunately for me, I'm an art student- my written exams are few and done with- unfortunatly though, instead of peeking at pried open pig-guts and marking what is what and what goes where like my biology major buddy, I have a million final projects up the wazoo, all time-intensive. >.<
-final film projects -final animation projects -final drawing projects
they all make me cry when piled up on eachother. D: and I have untill monday. crying
so in other words... I become VERY VERY STRESSED and a bit depressed.
but then, don't we all? D:

I don't think I've ever studied for a final in my lifetime, probably why my gpa's only 3.1... sweatdrop I'm in high school and, yes, exams are nipping at my heels. I have the SATs to prepare for as well as an AP exam and finals in... *thinks* about five classes.
