There are some places on the internet where you can go to host your webcomic. You don't have to know any programming language to set up a website either or create an entire layout, etc etc.

Also by hosting it on a large website specifically for webcomics, it means people will be able to find your comic without you having to personally spam advertisements for it

Some free webcomic hosting is at:

http://www.smackjeeves.com/

www.onlinecomics.net/

transplantcomics.com/

Gutterflycomix.com

If you know of any other places that will host comics, please post it here! Also if you have experience with these sites, it might be helpful if you could do a pro/con for the site so people can read through quickly to find out which host might be best or have specific qualities they want

Comic Genesis hosts some of my favourite webcomics! :3 Says it's free.

It used to be keenspace actually, and it's been said it's a very reliable webcomic host for as long as you need it. Many webcomics switch off this host however, when thier webcomic gets very popular... But then it's not so much a chore, it it? ;D All you have to do is send them a sample of your comic for them to review and decide on.

and another one to try is Drunk Duck, though it was a little to "HTML sauvy" for me, I'm sure someone here could find use of it, and if not, it's still an option. :3

It is free, and you get unlimited space. Another plus is that HTML knowledge is not required, so it's a great choice for those new to website construction.

The downside is it takes a week after registering before you can start updating your webcomic, but it's definitely worth it.

I tried signing up for comic genesis and when I went to "verify" the form it just reset itself. Did that before, when I tried to sign up as well. >_>;

www.xepher.net is a good place to go if you don't want ads (other than a single one on your main page). It's for artists, so you can have a gallery there too. You have to apply and prove your worth to Xepher, though.

I don't want to give away much information, so are there any that require no html knowledge that won't ask me much?

Well, Smackjeeves requires no HTML knowledge. As for the information thing, I don't remember how much it asks you, but you could always give false information since it's not a pay site. No one will know. XD You could say you live in Timbuktu and no one will question you.

Thats all fine and dandy, but I don't want to use someone elses server. I have a server, I just don't know how to create a webpage and all that junk. Also, I don't know how to get the webpage up. I don't want www.whatever.com/mycomic. I want www.mycomic.com. y'know?

You might have to hire someone to make the site for you, if that's the case @.@; or buy a book that teaches HTML or CSS.... and if it's completely your own server, you might need to use some kind of FTP program to get it up. I don't know if that was any help XD;
