It had been a bit since his mother had left to go find her cousin. Veshengo was feeling lonely, and he missed Cushti Bok, but he tried not to think about it. The little male wild dog, still smaller than the rest of the pups since he was born last, sat staring at a puddle. None of the others were black and white. Sure, he had a bit of brown on him(It made him wonder if he was related to Jamaa), but it wasn't much compared to how much black there was. He looked up as a cloud went by, marveling at how it looked like a lion with wings. His mother was a story teller, and if she'd have been there, she would have told a story about it, but with her gone for a bit... His ears fell and he looked back at the water.

"What's wrong pup?" Temari asked softly, walking up beside Veshengo silently, her limp still slightly present from when she'd been so dissenchanted. "You miss your mother don't you?"
It was a simple question, though she didn't exactly expect an answer to be heralded that easily. Sitting down beside him as she kept her eyes on the others, Temari looked down at the smaller juvenile with silent jem green eyes. She knew what it was like to miss someone so much, that was why she had gotten up in the first place.
"So little one. Would you like to hear a story? Or tell one?" Temari smiled at him, her voice still quiet. ninja
