The Spartans once resided on a continent northwest of the island they currently live on. They lived in the great Hellenic Empire, but when the King of Sparta refused an order from the King of the Empire itself, The emperor exiled the Spartans from the empire. Their villages robbed and burned. Their women raped and murdered, the children were butchered, an the men fought back as hard as they could. The efforts of the Spartan army were almost useless. Spartan soldiers were by far the strongest in the land, but against the other cities armies, they never stood a chance.
The last remnants of the Spartan army put up a final defense at Sparta, the old Sparta. 500 against 16,000 men, but the Spartans fought bravely and helped a part of Sparta's citizens, as well as the royal family, escape with their lives. As the survivors of the raid looked upon their cherished city burn from a small fleet of boats, hidden under the morning's mist, the Spartan army was still fighting, but this time the soldier count was 172 Spartans and 4000 Hellenic Troops. The Spartans were losing, but they were taking their enemies down with them. The Hellenic Empire's commander finally decided to use long range weaponry, which Spartans used to loathe tremendously, the enemy archers lined up, and fired. In one volley of arrows, 500 Spartan men were on the ground, dead or dying.

Months passed since the survivors left their lost kingdom, the surviving Spartans built camp and grewin populace. After 7 generations later, they were an empire again. Led by Gyras and his family.
