This is a thread to post for why you like music or certain songs. You may not know it, but there is a song aside from your regular genre than you love. You can't help but listen to it. Now, what are you listening to and why do you like it? How would you feel if someone caught you listening to it? What is it about that song that catches your interest? Answer anymore questions you feel necessary! And don't be shy! It's fun!

I'm...-Embarassed-...I'm listening to T.A.T.U., a supposed lesbian group. They were said not to be lesbian, but the viewers were supposed to believe it in their hit video "All the Things She Said". Personally, I'm a sucker for female singers. I LOVE to hear females sings when it's in techno or something like that. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a lesbian! I just like hearing a female sing techno and pop. Rock is awesome as well! But I stick to males with Rock since they sing the majority of rock. Still, female singers are awesome.
I just fell in love with this song after looking for Ouran High School Host Club videos. The song is called "All About Us" by T.A.T.U.
It was based on the twins, Hikaru and Karou Hitachiin and how no one can tell them apart. They soon figure out that Haruhi can and it changes everything. They always kept to themselves and never let anyone interfere with them, but Haruhi changed that about them and when I look for a song or video, I look for a meaning. And usually when I find a meaning, I become obsessed with songs. I've become obsessed with this song as I have become obsessed with Ouran High School Host Club. I can't stop listening to it and I guess I feel stupid. Still, I don't let my music classify me. I listen to alllll kinds and I don't care what people think about me. If I like it, I like it. Still, I can't stand Rap and Hip Hop now-a-days. I may find a random R & B Song, but I stay from it if I can help it.
Anyway, T.A.T.U. sings a few different genres of music. I guess I like them for their individuality and for the way they perform the music. All about us...makes me feel...weird, I guess for lack of better words. It explains alot about me and my friends! This will most likely be my theme for the first half of the year. It's a pretty good song. I'm not sure what about it makes me want to listen to it on repeat. I guess I love the beat to it, but it's alot more than that. I just don't know how to explain it...

T.A.t.u is good. ^^
I listen a lot to Slipknot's "Vermillion" pts 1 and 2, as well as "Wait and Bleed".
I also enjoy Green Day, Good Charlotte, and some other stuff as well.
And I'm a hardcore country fan. xD
I listen to it because I enjoy the songs. I think everyone needs some good angry music for those mad days. Green Day is just awesome, as is Good Charlotte's "Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous".

hmm, I prefer Old Green Day, not the newer stuffs. As far as slipknot goes.. i'm not with ya on that one, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. whee and not a country fan either. sweatdrop

xDD I love all kinds of music. Some country for me. I like Sliknot. My first rock group. "Wait and Bleed" and "Before I Forget" are my favorites! "Wait and Bleed" converted me to rock and it's greatness. As far as country, Mom's fault. I only like a few. Er...Green Day? They're okay. I love the old Green Day! What was the name of that song...Hmm...I think I should look it up...but there is this one song that I LOVE! Good Charlotte is...okay. I went to their concert to see Sum 41...LMAO! sweatdrop

Alot of the music I like is nostalgic to me. I love Queen, Foreigner, Frank Sinatra, and bunch of of oldies because of dad. My mom's not a music person.

I love Evanescene. I also love Gackt,. Utada Hikaru, Miyavi, BoA, adn Asian Kung-Fu Generation. I like a lot more but those are my favorites that I can think of off the top of my head. I don't know what it is, I just always love their music. I will like listen to songs over and over again until it is permenenntly implanted in my brain. yes, I am weird, I know, but that's what I do when I find a song I really like.

My parents are always like...WTF? And stuff. I know what I'm saying. In Japanese I mean...I can't translate yet. But I mean, c'mon! I like my kind of music. I usually hide that I like Japanese music and stuff because people look at me funny even though I'm fecking asian...><;;

I used to realllyyyyy be into the above. I still like 'em just not so much anymore.
Now I'm more into indie/electronica/alternarock stuff. Alot of what I listen to can also be classified under kinda college music type stuff. Really indie sounding. Dunno why, but it's very nostalgic for me.
Postal Service, Blonde Redhead, The Fratellis and Of Montreal- I love them all. ;3;
And Origa, but she doesn't really count as she's GOD.

I listen to a lot of J-rock nowadays. I used to be more into J-pop, but now the only artist i really listen to any more Hikki, because she. is. AMAZING.
But yeah, I listen to it because I like the music. I also like the vocals in most bands a lot better. ;D

Gah! XD I love E Nomine, Rammstein, Yoko Kanno, Steve Conte, Plain White T's (Hey there Delilah which is the greatest song ever) and that's about all I can remember :3
