Prompt 2 You and your best friend / brother /sister / the other trast, have always been close, you’ve been this way since you were very little, as if you’ve always meant to be together, today you decide to go on a journey together, to find out why you’ve always had this bond.
Plot out your journey together, it’s up to you if they are related or not. This of course doesn’t have to be true to fact but feel free to include a pack leader as your guide if you wish.

I think I'd rather they were just friends from like forever ago than family. It leaves room for more options as far as interactions go.
The Trast generally live underground, in vast and exstensive cavern systems that even they get lost in; there are old tunnels that have long since been abandoned for reasons unknown as well. So there's lots of room for random caverns and such, or even exits to the surface if we feel like going there.

Okies, friends is what I was kinda leaning towards anyways. XP
I already mentioned the whole jewel cavern thing. But we need a reason behind why they're so close to each other, and how far that closeness extends? Like, do we wanna go for the whole semi-psychic connection thing? As in life threatening danger for one the other senses? Or just that they always seem to know what's on the other's mind?

How about empathy whose strength varies with distance? Kinda like they could use it to track one another by following the strength of the other's feelings. o.0;

Empathy is fun! xp We could start the RP with both of them having been thinking about why they are how they are in seperate quarters, and finally getting together and realizing they were feeling the same thing.
Do we wanna include a pack leader or another trast to help guide them at all?

Huh.
I don't really know, honestly. Do you want to have another Trast involved?
For one it might help if we had any idea what pack they're going to be in. >< They really ought to be neutral I think, but then again I'm not sure. I don't know if Chibbit will accept any more into Fusion right now, and Wild isn't recruiting right now. The only two I'd go for aside from those would be Soul or Ferrous. I just don't wanna put any of my Trast in Mage. XD;;;

I think Soul would work best. *noddles* And I think having a pack leader or another Trast offer direction would help the RP along a lot. I think it'd be a little difficult for the pups to handle it all on their own, don't you? It'd also give us an opportunity for more expansion of what's going on at that time.

So... both the Trast are feeling odd things at odd times and are uncomfortable away from one another. They don't understand why, because they don't realize they have this empathic link. They go to Soul and ask for some advice on how to figure out what's going on. They end up traveling together through the caverns, experiencing different things, and eventually come to the bejeweled cavern were they come to the realization that they are actually feeling one anothers' feelings.
Or something along those lines?

That sounds great! We can even throw in some gem-lore and say that the cavern they find is filled with malachite, which supposedly enhances innate abilities. That's how it is they figure it out - maybe they literally get to the point of being to assume what the other is thinking in that place?

It makes me wonder if we could get Syr or Chibbit to do a little edit so they both have a malachite pendant on. XD;

EEDEET:
No pressure on starting like immediately. They're having a static party tonight on my dad's game so I'm getting off before too long and I probably won't be back on tonight.

Edit: We should giv ehtem nicknames, as they have the same names... Nido and Ran, mebbe? I kinda prefer Ran for the male. *shrug*

Nidoran yawned, blinking his eyes some to try and help them adjust from his sleep. Rising from his resting place, the trast turned his head over his shoulder to groom a bit at his fur. If he was heading out, the least he could do would be to look as if he hadn't slept at all. His night had been filled with strange dreams again; dreams that kept him tossing and turning, wondering what was wrong with him. Wrinkling his nose, he set off down his tunnel towards a less private place. Why on earth was it that he always seemed to dream about her?
He licked his lips and yawned again, barely managing to make the right turn he needed to without tripping over his own four paws. Pausing and blinking more sleep away, he took another moment to shake out his head. Maybe if he headed towards the stream for a cool drink he could rid himself of being so tired.
((Eh... *shrug* I dunno if that works or not...))
