Quote: Journey; jour·ney ( P ) Pronunciation Key (jûrne) n. pl. jour·neys 1.The act of traveling from one place to another; a trip. 2.A distance to be traveled or the time required for a trip. OOCly, this will be a thread were I'll ramble to myself and try and find others to ramble with. The basics are that Hasidi was born outside of the Kusini'mwezi lands. Adopted by Tisha he has been wondering about his past family and where exactly were they traveling from. He had a mother and two sisters all three of them parished on a journey that would inevitably lead them to the Kusini lands. He'll be going on a journey (bum leg and all) to almost all of the lands looking for someone that knew his mother (non existant.)

Hasidi had spent the last few days thinking over what exactly to say to Tisha, and could be seen talking to himself, planning out what it was he intended to say. The lion was planning a journey that would take him far from his mother, brother, and new little sister. He was frightened but his wandering heart knew it was time to see the rest of the world, and find where his original mother had come from.
The dark red lions demeanor was cheery he was going to see more of the world, going to see things that he could only dream about, one could only hope that his leg would cooperate. He tread softly, his hind leg dragging slightly behind him, walking towards their den; his home for almost his entire life and stopped just outside of it, "Mother are you here?"

Tisha had spent the day wandering more or less, explaining the lands to her daughter for the first time as the young cub was old enough to learn on her own. Now, Nephthys could venture to the other dens, and if accompanied, she could also explore the lands around her. And so, Tisha decided to show her all ends, and when they returned both were tired enough.
Awakening from her nap moments before Hasidi called, her ear flickered lightly as Neph stirred from besides her, and she stood slowly.
"Yes, Hasidi, Neph and I are inside. Please, come in, you do live here." And with that, she settled back down with a large yawn, before picking up her daughter and cleaning the small cub with no protests.

"Didn't want to interrupt anything," he chuckled and stepped into the den his eyes taking in the scene, "He little one, hi mom!" He smiled looking at Neph, this would be his second time seeing her.
"Sorry I havn't been around, I've been sort of wandering back and forth along the border. Have I missed anything too eventful?" He didn't think so, she would have found and contacted him if there was need of him.
"I..umm.. well I was hoping to tell you that I am.. I mean get your permission to leave and travel for a bit? I'll come back, I promise."

Neph lifted a paw and waved at the male before her, possibly thinking it was her elder brother from the greeting that he exchanged with her mother. She knew she had three elder siblings, one who wasn't really a brother and one who was just like her. Clearly, this male had to be her last one. Now, she just had to wait for him to stop talking, and as soon as he finished with his sudden statment of leave, she jumped in before her mother could.
"Finally you decided to show! I didn't think I had another brother besides Ta-ta!" And than she humphed, though her eyes smiled at him with all forgiven.
"You want to leave?" Everything was so sudden, and Tisha realized that it took a lot for Hasidi to come to her. Instead of doing what she wanted to, hold him close and never let him go, she just nodded slowly.
"I knew this day would come."

Hasidi waved back slowly looking at her, she was so different from the first time he had seen her. "Ta-ta..?" oh Taffy! "Yep, I'm Hasidi, your big brother." He stepped forward closer to the two of them, his mind shifted to not wanting to leave, to wanting to stay and play with Neph, and try and get her to pick on Tafari with him.
"I'll be back, I love you and Tafari, and Little Nephthys. If you want me to stay I understand," he paused a part of him wanted her to tell him to stay, but the other part knew she wouldn't.
"Neph, can you make me a promise? Make sure to take care of Taffy and Mamma for me?"

Tisha watched silently, not saying anything until he asked if she wanted him to stay, adn she shook her head at that.
"I understand what it feels like to search for answers...I spent all of my life doing it...and as long as you know you will always have a home here, you will always have a place to return. Just incase."
Confused with everything, Nephthys just nodded slowly, before adding to ensure the deal a soft, "I promis, Hasi." Jumping from her mother's paws, she padded over and rubbed lightly around his forepaw, smiling up to him with her soft blue eyes a moment later.

"Thank you. I really needed you to say that it was alright," blurry eyed he looked down at Neph.
"You try and give Tafari a hard time, he's always so quiet. Try to make him talk more?" he leaned down and licked the top of Neph's head playfully.
"I'll come back one day all grown up and with answers, and then you're introuble!" a bright smile spread across his maw.

Nephthys didn't understand why he was saying all that, and just nodded slowly before rushing away to her mother once more. Watching from the warm paws, she noted that Tisha wasn't moving, so thus she decided not to move as well, for now.
Smiling softly, she nodded, "Everything will always be alright, Hasidi. You are my son, dispite our different color pelts, you have proved that much by all your actions in these lands. Don't ever for get that, I will always love you." Smiling still, tears held in her bi-colored eyes as well, and she kept away just to protect them both from an even harder leave.

He rushed up rubbing against his adoptive mothers shoulder and gave her a quick lick on the cheek. "I don't want to draw this out, I'll be back, cross my heart and swear to the stars I will." He looked down at Neph grinning mischivously, "I'll see you when you're older and we'll play all sorts of games."
With that he quickly padded out of the den and into the open air, he was afraid to cry infront of her, afraid to show any weakness before he left. "I'm going to find where I'm from, and come back home," he whispered and started off on his journey.

With his muscles burning and soul on fire Hasidi ran, not walked away from the Kusini'wenzi lands. It was easier to leave the place he loved so much at a quicker pace, although how quick? Considering his leg that was the question.
He knew a few things of his family, one they were traveling away from something, something that made his mother move at a very quick pace leading to the near starvation of himself and the death of both his sisters. And two that his mother soon died, no father.
He had started this little quest of his without thinking through, like a rational lion. He was an adolescent and on top of that he had a terrible limp, how exactly was he to care for himself, and if there should be any dangers along the way?
