Info
Name: Avelop Teach
Owner: Celedian
Stage: Ship's Boy
Crew Position: Rigging Rat
Ship: Aurarius
Description:

Avelop is a charming young boy, not too short, not to tall. He is not particularly good looking, neither particularly bad looking. However, in one respect he is above average, his thinking ability, he joined the crew as a rigging rat, because he already had experience navigating, and he thought it was his best area. As a young boy, his father was a merchant, until one day his father’s ship was attacked by pirates, he had been beaten by his father, (and that was how he got his scar) so when the pirates came on board, he joined them.
Ever since he has been happy, in between the drinking and barfights, he love’s sailing, and he loves climbing the rigging’s so, he thinks it’s perfect, especially when there’s rum.

Allies, Enemys:

Samuel- An amazing chap, very friendly I assume that we'll be great friends. We're both rigging rats, so we have some things in common. I bet in a month or so, we'll be sitting in jail, drunk as hell, saying stuff like ''Ah well, we got caught but it was sure as hell worth it.''

monday, tuesdayUnkown day in the year of our lord _____,

Today, WAS a good day, the waterfall had a slight rapidity, which meant cleaning was a whole lot better to withstand, I really could use a bar of soap though, twigs can hurt.

No luck on the Anscetary front, hooked up with the homely daughter of a rich ex-pirate to get to his library*. There are 3 pirates I may be related to, Blackbeard, which I think unlikely, and Arabella Drummond, Possible. Out of all I found, there is only one remaining for me to write the name of, from the book's I have read about it, it is possible, no likely, my mothers grandfather was Francis Drake, this pleases me to know, but disgusts me that I'm probably related to, a PRIVATEER, they are bitter scum, pirating for the governmont.

, yours Avelop 'Drake'

* There was no such place on the island, this was written during his stage of mental illness.

Someday in the year of our lord,

Today has been, 'Interesting', I have met two new people, the one fulfiling the prophecy told to me by the Hag, and a violent female.

Let me start with 'Tracey' or 'Master', he is not going to teach me manners, but will let me follow and pickup a few from his behaviour. He is a strong one, and is key to whatever we are doing, he has taken a commanding role and seems to know what he is doing or is atleast putting up a good act, I sure hope he does know.

The female nearly shot me, I was lucky her gun didn't work. Other than that she's a mystery to me.

Well, I've got to go. I'll write more later.

I must write quickly, as I may get further orders shortly, but I feel I have left you In dis-repair.

Recently, I signed up to te Auriaus, a mighty ship, with a mighty captain. A dragon kin. I have the position of rigging rat, as I predicted (And wanted), but I have a slight problem, I need more daggers, or a short sword, as one Dagger would not be enough in battle, even though it has kept me alive till now. Mopping is a trivial job, but it passes the time, atleast I get to stay in the rigging all I want, it is my safe haven, a home away from home my cabin onboard the ship.

Speaking of my cabin, I had a weird dream last night, me as a child drifting off on a raft, sailing away from a burning boat*, it must be me readjusting to the sea, as I had a bout seasickness earlier, which was most perculiar. Maybe it was the fish I ate earlier, or the rum. Can't be the rum, I like it too much, in fact, I want some right now.

*Avelop speaks of memorys that may have never happened, although it is true, he did suffer trauma extreme enough to send him mentally ill on basics rations, but by the time writing this he ws fully recovered. The main reason we believe this did not happen is because throughout his journal he only make crude references without any details.

Avelop took the mop and started cleaning, he started humming well known pirate songs and even a few he tried to make himself,

Yo ho ho,
A pirate I be,
I plunder and pillage,
on the high sea!

,he chuckled and got back to work. Once he had completed his cleaning duties, he gathered some of his dried wood and his flint, as well as a sheet of metal, he danced up the rigging with ease and set up the wood on the metal sheet so it could burn without setting the ship on fire or giving off too much smoke.

He waited with his musket ready, and aimed to the sky, and waited for a bird, he sure was hungry and wasn't sure about going to the chef, it surely wouldn't be like on his fathers ship. The sky was cloudy, but no birds were in sight, it was one of those days, cold, miserable, lonely. He sat by the fire and took out his journal, he would need to write about today.

Avelop walked to the captain, he tried to act casual and find a space whilst the captain wasn't talking but he was quite nervous. He decided to just ask, ''Captain, I notice we have no lookout, would you like me to fill in while you find a suitable candidate?"

He wanted to be a lookout, even for short while, he understood it would mean hours of constant attention but at least he wouldn't have to constantly keep looking for new orders, he liked having a purpose. He shook his head from these thoughts, and listened for the captains response.
