At the perfect center of the Cherry Tree Circle lies the huge daunting park that is The Emperor's Palace Gardens. The park is round, with a single large gate in the southwest corner. Everywhere you turn you find green; Grass, trees, or beautiful flowers. In the depths of the park lies The Emperor's Palace, where the mysterious emperor lives, never showing his people his face. The Gardens are open, but the Palace is closed for all but the Emperor, once again returned to the City of Cherry Blossoms.

One of the walls of the plateu on which the palace is placed is rough, unhewn rock. Under the wall lies a spring, channeled up it forms a waterfall. On the bottom of the waterfall lies a huge rock called The Karp for it's fishlike form. According to lore, a karp that climbs a waterfall turns into a dragon.

From the foot of the small waterfall, a small stream flows down towards the center of the garden. At the end of this stream is a large pond, wherein real karps swim, and on a small island in the middle, 3 turtles reside. Symbols of a long life, the turtles are loved by everyone in the palace.

Rob walked around near the gardens. He remembered in the recent past the many turrets that lay below the surface, ready to strike. He shivered as he passed the gardens.
