Have any of you ever played/performed/danced to Disney music before? I am obsessed with music in general, but especially Disney!

yep. blaugh my high school just did Beauty and the Beast this last year. I was a freshman so I had to be a crappy little villager in a puke-yellow colored dress. but it was still a lot of fun.
sweatdrop school might not count for much, but our school does put on some of the most professional shows in the area. it was really, really good, I promise. heart

That's cool. I always go to the library and get books of Disney music and go home and play it, loud. - Pumba

I was in the musical with Nicole. It was actually pretty frickin' amazing. I was on sound crew, so I had to play the music all the time. Hehe, and I promise you we danced quite a bit ^.^.
Plus, the fact I'm in band and we play Disney music all the time in concerts. ^.^

Once upon a time, I was in choir. sweatdrop We had those lame medleys. *sigh* I'm glad to be out of high school. Now I just sing whenever I feel like it.

That must've been pretty sweet. This year for Senior Show we are playing the Disney princess Medley. Ac uople years ago they played all Disney songs. It was amazing. When we played a piece with all Lion King music combined, I thought I had died and gone to heaven.

Well, my school choir sang Hakuna Matatta, and that was pretty fun. Especially because I got to sing a solo. biggrin And a few of my friends sang a medly of Disney love songs at one concert. 'Twas pretty fun!

My Music teacher paid out of her own pocket for the whole collection of sheet music. sweatdrop We helped with a fundraiser, too. I think it was definately worth the money.

the choir at our Junior High did a Disney concert the year before Kiara and I got there, and then my class begged both years for another but our teacher wouldn't let us. so we had to do lame concerts. crying that's the one bad thing about Disney music and plays. the rights and sheet music can be really expensive. but it is worth it in the end.

I recently discovered in the depths of my house a very old Disney songbook with piano music for a bunch of the movies [But it's reeeally old. It didn't even have music from The Little Mermaid sad ]. I'm having a lot of fun playing the songs since they're not that hard for me to sightread. Maybe I'll perform some of them one day when I'm an old lady playing the piano at some fancy store or restaurant rofl
