Anyone going to try out for Rising Stars of Manga 2006? (Or anyone heard of rising stars of manga?) xp
I'm not trying out for it...but I did last year.

I tried when I was eleven years old... 6.6' a very sad piece if I say so myself... ¬¬ ac tually I prefer not to talk about it... excuse me..... -goes to sulk in a corner-

xd It's a very tough competition!
Actually, Notopu and I tried to enter once, but we lost interest after a while. Maybe we'll draw something up for next year.
It's a good way to get noticed, though.

Opa-sama xd It's a very tough competition! Actually, Notopu and I tried to enter once, but we lost interest after a while. Maybe we'll draw something up for next year. It's a good way to get noticed, though. Yeah, I enter it last year and now I lost interst in it... sad

On the topic of losing, meow:
I read in Tokyopop's Summer release that one of their new artists lost Rising Stars of Manga pretty much every time, and he's been entering since the start of it. This time, he came as a runner up, and was still hired.
The issue had a bit of praise for him, so maybe it had something to do with why he was hired wink
