How many of you here enjoy role playing? Or used to enjoy role playing, be it as a anime character, something you made up. Or even a fish, share your opinions on role playing. Personally I used to be a huge role player, and even created on of the largest MSN DBZRPG groups that held it's postion for over a year. However, in the last recent year or so I slowly drifted away from it. But, I did just create a role playing thread set in the Gaia setting using our avatars as the basis. Here You can give that a look if you like, for those that are unfamilar with role playing. Use that as an example.

I used to be huge into role playing. When I was in school and had free period I used to go role play for either Gundam Wing, Final Fantasy 7/8, or Silent Hill. xD Maybe I will check out this role play.

I never understood the fun behind role playing. I joined a WWE RP awhile ago but typing out your attacks got boring real fast. Plus there were these nerds who kept calling me a "3rd rate RP'er"

Plus there were these nerds who kept calling me a "3rd rate RP'er" Well, perhaps your just doing the wrong type of role playing. I agree a WWE rp would get bored fast. Usualy any rp of the type would. I really perfer role playing in a way that develops a character and creates a evolving storyline.

Vickicat I used to love role playing. I still do, but I don't get to do it very much, most of my friends don't do it anymore, or don't do it within our same group of friends. I used to RP Pok魯n a lot, and me and my boyfriend had an RP for a while that we made up. Thats pretty cool, just a few weeks ago a group of friends and myself did a pokemon rpg. Using a dungeons and dragons system, we sat around a table playing it. It was pretty fun actually.

it was crazy.
last night when i went to go see kingdom of heaven ( it totally pwned btw),
anyways, there was A MILLION PEOPLE waiting to see starwars 3.
there was the wookies, the stormtroopers, the vaders, the clonetroopers...
and then there was the anakins.
homygawd the anakins.
everyone else was nerds.
un-attractive nerds.
but the anakins.

I love to RP, especially as avatar based stuff. I normally get half-assed a ways into the RP though. Kinda shitty. Well this friday I'm having a birthday bash and you're all invited. It's a harry potter themed bash and you can roleplay around my mansion. It shall be fun. Check my back entry in my journal for it.
