If you haven't read this one, I'm warning you to stop reading now because this post will give away something that happens in the book!!!! I want to know who was disappointed about Dumbeldore dying in the 6th book, and I also want to know (even if you were disappointed) if you think it was a good thing to happen because of the emotions it created for you, if any. I know that I was rather disappointed, but I also understand why it happened, at least I think I do.

I love that scene where Dumbledore dies, not because he dies(wow, that sounded bad at first XD), but because it leaves so many delicious questions twisted I really don't think he's dead. There were far too many questions surrounding the death scene(it's been awhile since I read it, so I can't remember all of them now), and it just didn't seem like it was quite his time to die. Although, even if he's still alive now, he'll probably die in the seventh book, anyway >.>; Oh, and there was that whole phoenix rising thing, over his grave. *sigh* I loved the book, even though lots of people say it wasn't nearly as good as the others . . . . Hm. Anyway! I plan on re-reading it soon 3nodding

I was also wondering if he really died!!! I can't wait for the seventh one to come out! I really liked reading that part for the same reason, I completely understand what you're saying. That would be cool if he came back, though. I also wonder if he really is dead because Harry has to do it alone, though, without Dumbeldore's help.

I wasn't too disappointed when he died. I liked him but I figured he would die so it wasn't too much of a surprise.

Really? I didn't expect that he would die... I also really thought that Snape was really a good guy. That really bothered me that he did that!! I guess that he could still be on the good side, though, and just have done that to cover up so he could continue spying on the bad side. ( was that proper english? I hope so)

Wow. Him dying was really upsetting. He was my favorite character. But I have to agree with Tallie about him not really being dead. It's just a little too suspicious. I also have a feeling that Snape IS a good guy. (which is why I don't think Dumbledore's dead) Or maybe this is all just wishful thinking. confused

Yeah, I don't really think Snape is a bad guy, either. They've gone through too many plots with him, and everything he's done . . . . I dunno. I don't see it.

So Dumbledore's death is the big thing in the 6th book. I read it cover to cover on my birthday when my Aunt gave it to me. I was so mad. Anyways, I too subscribe to the idea that Dumbledore is not dead. At one point I had a dozen theories on why he wasn't dead/what really happened.
Snape is also most definitely NOT all evil. He's one of those characters that plays a very dual role (yeah yeah, I know no sh!t sherlock... he's a double agent) Anyways. Back to the point. He can't be totally evil because he's done some nice things throughout the books. Like the wolfsbane potion for Lupin for starters.
Also if anyone else has theories they want to share, please post them... I just don't want to be the first to post a theory cause some of mine are pretty wild...
