((Forgive me, for I don’t know much about Indian -from India, not Native American!- names. This is presented as last name first, given name second, and from what my understanding is a ‘popular title amongst females’ last.))

((My God… I actually had to give Gael a maiden name! Yuck!))

Age: 13 ((1,300))

Hair: Gael’s hair is long, reaching down to the bottom of her shoulder blades. It’s wavy to the point of being borderline curly. Her hair is the exact shade of raven’s feathers. That does not mean it’s straight black. That means that it’s black with a glossy iridescence that shines both blue and purple in the light. *At this age, Gael commonly pulls her hair back into a ponytail, her long bangs falling down into her eyes rather than staying in the ribbon.*

Eyes: Gael’s eyes are almond shaped and upturned, giving a very exotic look. They are also the shifting shade of amethyst. They are almost white at some parts and a hypnotic violet at others, just like the crystal.

Skin: Gael’s skin a smooth dark golden color, not to be confused with tan. She does not tan or sunburn. On her forehead, in between her eyes, is a green smooth diamond shaped jewel.

Height: Gael is a usual height for a female, if not only a few inches taller.

Weight: Gael, at this point in time, isn’t quite so curvy as she is when she’s older. She’s almost tiny in size, not having as much strength as she does after all the combat later on in life. She seems to be maturing on an average scale.

Outfit: While still in the academy, Gael wears the appropriate academy uniform with no adjustments.

Overall Description: This younger version of Gael is quiet. She sits in the back of the class and alone at lunch etc… Meaning, of course, that her overall appearance isn’t really so welcoming and she’s far from intimidating. She seems sort of like a mouse.

Personality: Gael is a workaholic and she makes no attempt to hide it. To her, school is merely for studying and she’d rather not study in a group. She’s attracted to Kidou because it is an art that can be practiced without a partner, unlike sparring with swords and the like. She is quite, preferring to stay away from other people. Her responses are short and to the pointy, sometimes with witty remarks thrown in. *Her personality changes upon meeting Michio, though*

-Zanpakutou-

Zanpakutou Name: Genshihana ((Literally: Hallucination Flower.))

Zanpakutou Description:

-Before Release: Before Genshihana is released, she is merely a regular katana with a small cherry blossom hanging almost keychain-like from the hilt.

-Shikai: Once Shikai is activated, Genshihana’s cherry blossom keychain moves up to Gael’s shoulder, growing outward from a series of green leafy vines that climb up her arm. The vines firmly secure the hilt to her hand, making it near impossible for her to be disarmed. The hilt turns into something resembling more of a branch than a sword hilt. The blade itself gains a sort of gleaming iridescence. It seems pearly, shifting between light pale colors in a swirling fashion.

-Bankai: The change from her Shikai to her Bankai is far from drastic. The blade grows few inches, gaining more of a curved shape than being purely straight. The vines grow a little bit, extending down Gael’s back as well.

Zanpakutou Abilities:

-Shikai: Genshihana’s main power is hallucination. It has the ability, upon Shikai, to cause anybody it cuts to hallucinate. The hallucinations range in severity. The severity of the hallucination is actually dependent on many factors. The more someone is cut, the more likely their hallucination is more powerful. The larger a person is, the more likely that they only get minor hallucinations. Likewise, the smaller they are the more intense it becomes. If a person has strong willpower, they will more than likely not be affected as much as someone with little or no willpower. The effects are delayed for only an instant. Only about a few seconds to a half a minute after the cut has been delivered.

-Bankai: Genshihana’s Bankai makes her able to effect the area of the battle rather than just an individual person. A person does not have to be cut for this ability to work. The world around them develops a sort of shimmer. Gael’s ability is that she can create a duplicate of herself as an illusion. The duplicate cannot feel pain and likewise cannot injure an opponent.


Zanpakutou Materialization: Genshihana appears as a little girl. She has dark bark brown skin and leaf green short, straight, bobbed hair. She wears a golden colored kimono and has cherry blossom pink eyes. She does not like to wear shoes or jewelry and is often surrounded by falling cherry blossoms.
