Welcome to The Mini-Marketplace! a buyer/sellers/lender/loaners/traders/renters atmosphere!

Things around here are fairly simple; all forms of buisness are acceptable, as long as they revolve around GAIA. I will not permit ANY buying/selling involving real "paper" money. Got it?

Now for a true definition..
The Mini-Marketplace is here for you if you don't want to deal with all the junk the regular marketplace puts out, if you only wish to temporarily loan out gold or items, or if you have something to sell/advertize. The Mini-Marketplace deals with the following:
~Buying Items
~Selling Items
~Trading Items perminantly
~Trading Items temporarily IE Lending
~Loaning out gold or rare items for an extended period of time
~Renting gold or items for an extended period of time.
~Renewing loans/rentals

Some Rules
1. When you make a thread, there is a form you must follow, do not follow the form and your thread will be locked.
2. Cheating people out of their money is a bannable offence, if its not, I'll make it one. don't tempt me.
3. Threads once made are NOT deletable, even after the transaction is complete. Threads that are completed with transactions shall be locked and kept on file.
4. Both users MUST AGREE on all the terms they set before begining any form of a transaction.
5. Before ANYTHING is finalized, Myself, youping or FireryTears must give you the goahead, this si keeping us involed to prevent stealing.
6. Transactions can be done in any gaian way, art, gold, items, banners. As long as the two parties involved agree, it is acceptable.
7. NO DELETING POSTS! I am notified whenever a post is deleted, and if there is a post deleted from this sub-forum I'll hunt you down and make you tell me why.
8. Follow the TOS, please.
9. When loaning/renting/lending, a time and date MUST be set for a retun of items or gold. If one of the members of the party cannot be at the computer during the correct time, they better let both the other half of the transaction and myself know.
10. Be fair with pricing, alright?

~More will come, sorry about the strictness.

The forms
Titles
Each page should be titled what the maker is intending to do, with what, for how long etc. for example:

Quote:
Loaning Kiki 1 month for other rare item of similar value
or somethign to that affect.

Inside
Inside the first post should have a more detailed discription of what the maker wants.

Quote:
I'm kinda bored of having my Kiki, so I don't mind loaning it for one or two of the items on this list that will come up to the kiki's value. I'm hopingto only do this for one month, but I'll concider elongating the loan term or making it perminant.

If you wish to buy the kiki, I'd name my price here, but since I only want items in exchange the list will go here.

People interested should post and say that they are interested, be cutious though.

what to do
Hi. I have three items whose value comes close to that of the Kiki's These items are
{item-price]
[item-price]
[item- price]
~note~ If the Item is not sold in stores, try to get the average cost from the marketplace values

what NOT to do
I want your kiki, I'll give you 200g and some flowers for it

Obviously this is bad because it is not only rude, it ignores the fact that the loaner didn't wish to recive money for the item and that the kiki is worth most peoples torso.

After selecting a transaction "partner"
After having agreed with someone's offer you must put in your title that it is IN PROGRESS or something to that affect to keep other buyers out. After adding to the title you two will work out all the details of the transaction IE: how long, who gets what, is renewal possible?

And then Contact an Accepted Crew member to approve the transaction.

After time limit is up

After the agreed time limit is up, the transactoners should trade back what they aggreed upon. KEEP A NOTE OF THE DATE THAT YOU MUST TRADE BACK. Because I'm not part ofthe trade back process harldy at all.

After the items have been sent back, each person must make two posts each.

"Items returned" and "Items recived" in the thread where they agreed origonaly.

IF THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN, I will find both persons ad find out why they forgot.

If things don't work out...

Take down the "in Progress" sign and start over, it is alright to decide you want to trade with someone else while beggining the conversation. you may NOT however, decide that after you have recived your money or half of the trade, to back out without compleating your share. You have two options;
one Return the items/money your "partner" has sent
Or
two Compleate the trade and suck it up until it is time to trade back.
