How can you guys watch Samurai Deeper Kyo? it seems kinda boring to me...heh..just my opinion anywho...

I have a LOT of anime and I can't really specify which out of the whole thing are my favorites.

One's I've watching recently:

Depending on who produced it (eg. Bandai, Geneon/Pioneer, ADV, Funimation...etc.) chooses the voices too. A personal favorite of mine is ADV, because I feel that they always do an outstanding job and finding just the right person to play to voice. Now occasionally they do have a dud, but the majority of the time it's fantastically voiced.
I don't stick to any particular genres when looking for anime, I just make sure that the plot is good and the art is not bad either. But I'll stop watching something if I feel that it wasn't really well subbed (Like Saiyuki Reload and Gunlock...OMG, I wish ADV bought all the rights to it, because Geneon did a terrible job in finding the voices for those two animes, they SUCK. ADV did a fantastic job on it and really captured the characters personalities...I can't stand the voices in the new one so I listen to it in authentic jap.
