Name: (Squire) Keladry of Mindelan
Thing the character is from: "Squire" by Tamora Pierce, in the Protector of the Small series
Abilities: Uhh, she's a squire. She can wield a sword, lance, axe, battle hammer, long bow, daggar, knife, et cetera, as long as she has the weapon in her hand. She also can wield 'Yamani' weapons such as a lady fan and a glaive.

Other: She is the only female squire in Tortall (at the moment), and has NO MAGIC. She is the squire to the Knight Commander of the Third Company of the King's Own (if you care), and is therefore fighting a lot. She has two horses - one, a gelding named Peachblossom, and the other, a mare, named Hoshi ('Yamani' for Star).

Personally, I think that the 'Yamani' people are actually Japanese. All the women wear kimonos, and one of them is named Yuki.

Name: Yuffie Kisaragi
Thing the character is from: Final Fantasy VII
Abilities: Her Shuriken, countless materia, umm all of her other ninja tools.. Ya ((Don't blame me.. I've never played the game))

Other: Yuffie has major motion sickness problems.

And Aqua, We know a LOT about fate/stay night in my house... *pokes Cinna and her friend*

((GAH! You made a mistake in the 'other' part... Sakura's brother is not 'Senji', it's Shinji. (I pay VERY close attention to little details) I've added another character that I wish to play when this gets started up...

Name: Assassin/Sasaki Kojirou
Thing the character is from: Fate/Stay Night
Abilities: Tsubame Gaeshi

Other: The servant of the servant Caster, his true identity is, according to the anime, a soul made up of various pieces of different souls. However, Sasaki Kojirou may have actually lived, though historians dispute that idea constantly. He, like many of the other servants, gets defeated by Saber.

I may not post much, because I have many other things to do, too (why do you think I've not been around...?). If I get bored with just 2 characters, I might add Caster and/or Shirou and Issei to the ranks of characters I'm playing...))

Sparks flew from metal as two people crossed blades on the steps leading up to a place called the Ryudouji Temple. (If you don't know what that is, it's a Fate/Stay Night place.) Keladry of Mindelan jumped backward, just off of the steps, as the samurai repelled her attack. "Oh, you're good, Kojirou," the squire said aloud, panting. "But you're not as good as my knight-master, Raoul of Goldenlake." She was actually astounded that she hadn't yet received a blow from such a worthy opponent.

"But you tell me his strength lies in his lance," Assassin replied, a mock look of confusion on his face, "Don't tell me that this man you speak of is faster than I? Let alone capable of using such a fine weapon as the sword?"

"All knights must be proficient in a wide range of blades, Kojirou," Kel explained, dashing in, attempting to slash a clean gash in the samurai's unguarded right arm. Assassin dodged left, of course, avoiding having blood drawn. "I am able to wield the bow, lance, halberd, spear, sword, and knives. But that's granting that I actually have the weapon."

Assassin struck Kel's wrist lightly with the end of his sword when she was talking. A faint streak of red flowed to the surface. "I believe that's the end of our duel, according to your rules?" The squire nodded. "Good. Let's go into town, shall we? It would be much better for two warriors like ourselves to chat over a drink of lemonade or some such thing than to be running around here like lunatics, no?" Kel nodded at this and, laughing, they walked off headed to town.
