Hello, and welcome to the Proud to be Anti-Kagome contest thread!~ ^__^ Yup yup, it's finally come, after all this time!~ ^^ Now that the guild has amassed a rather impressive number of members, we're finally kicking off our first contest. arrow Contest detailsAlright, now that we've got your attention, time to clarify a few things up. There is an entry fee of 60g for this contest, and the details are below (unhappy? Just go check the spifftastic prizes. x3). whee This contest will be a caption contest. Well, sort of. We have provided you with the following picture (that looks awful like some mix of manga frames and TV anime... O_o; ), and your work is to fill them up with character dialogues, trying to make Inuyasha, Kagome, Kikyou or Shippou say something funny. ^__^ Sound simple? Then go ahead and give it a try! mrgreen The contest will run from the 9th of May until 9th of June.
The entry fee will be 60 gold. Please send your entry fee to Ayane_Daruki. If you'd like to participate, please contact arrow Ayane100 or arrow Daruki (me)and send to them (and them only!) your entry(ENTRY! Please do not fill out our inboxes just saying that you might want to participate. This is what the thread is for. ^^).The picture And here's an example entry, by Ayane-san. For those who were too lazy to read properly the posts above and other questions that may be asked whee FAQ Q: When will the contest begin?
A: It starts on the 9th of May.
Q: How long will it last/When does it end?
A: It shall last one whole month, ending on the 9th of June.
Q: Whom should I send my entry to?
A: You should send it to Ayane100 or Daruki (me).
Q: Whom should I send my entry fee to?
A: Send it to [same thing]
Q: Am I allowed to submit more than entry? If so, do I still have to pay?
A: No, you are not. We have to make it fair for everyone, you do understand. ^^
Q: Who are the judges?
A: The mods, of course. whee All of us, probably.
Q: I have done my entry, but how do I put it online/Where can I get a site that can host my image?
A: Here is a couple.
Photobucket Limit: 250KB
VillagePhotos Limit: 120KB
TinyPic Limit: 250KB
ImageCave Limit: 250KB
ImageShack Limit: 1024KB
For those whose pics are bigger than 250KB, try to resize your image, or save it under JPEG. But GIF/PNG are clearer formats, so the choice is up to you.
Q: Should I keep it G or PG-13? Does language matter?
A: You can do as you wish!~ whee (It's Kagome, so DUH! ^^) But do try to keep it minimal, if it's anything sexualy related. ^^; Swearing should be fine, but do be careful on that... sweatdrop
Q: How do I pay the fee? I'm not familiar with the trading system!A: The link has been provided. Here's my mini-guide of how to use the trading system:
1. Type "60" in the white box.
2. Press "Add Gold".
3. The screen will now show "60". Make sure it works. ^^
4. Enter your password in the white box.
5. Press "Confirm & Send Trade"
Your fee has been sent. After we accept your trade, you will be taken back to a trade window. Here's a screenshot and what to do;
6. Enter your password again in the white box.
7. Press "Confirm Trade"
And that's it!~ ^^ Done! Hope it helps! If you have any other questions that are not mentioned above, please do not hesitate to ask it right here!~ Thank you! ^^
