As no doubt many of you have noticed, the names of the sub-forms leave much to the imagination. Never fear for if you read this thread, all will be made clear to you.

• Eternity's End - Main Forum - This is where all may come forth and reveal the true player. Any out of character discussions must be held here, as well as the general chit chat and chatter that any might feel compelled to indulge in.
  
  
• Registration - Here is where each and every member must register their character or characters, whichever the case may be. Only citizens that have been approved by our crew may join in the fun and the fray.
  
  Registration will also have an archive list to all active role play threads with a brief description of what is going on and who is involved.
  
  
• The Village – The only group of standing structures here at the end of time is simply called the Village. It is created of a hodgepodge of buildings from different eras and in different states of repair. Be careful where you walk for you never know when a newcomer may drop in on you.
  
  
• Beyond the Walls Here you will find the Eternal Woods, the River and the local Cemetery. Despite being at time’s end, you can still die and pay respect to the dead.
  
  
• Places UnknownOn occasion, worm holes will appear and lead to new lands and places that are best left unknown. But if you are brave enough to venture forth, then be sure to come back with an adventure to tell. This is for ANY role play. Here you can start an anime rp, video game rp, movie, TV series, anything your mind can think of. Also, this is a place where rules don't apply so much and are much for bendable so have fun.
  
  
• The Padded CellThe safe haven for the insane and unbalanced. There are no rules within this area and your only friend is that little voice inside your head. Bascailly this is our personal chatterbox forum and anything can go on here as long as it follows all TOS rules. Also, any role playing in here does not have to be in character.
  
  
• Authorized Personal OnlyThis is where those in charge may meet for a private discussion concerning this world and those in it. Abandon all hope, ye who enter uninvited.

• Be Literate Chat speak and text talk are a no-no. Actually they are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!! You will get ONE warning. After that you are BANNED!! The only place that such things are allowed is The Padded Cell sub-forum.
  
  
• No Drama.Nothing on our boards is personal. We are here to RP and to write, not to inflate our egos or show how much better at this or that we are than other people. Save the drama for your in-character writing and keep it out of real life.
  
  
• No Politics. Everyone has political views, religious views, whatever views. This is not the place to express them. Yes, it is fun to talk about these things, but unfortunately it gets in the way of the RP and almost always gets messy.
  
  
• No Hate.You make a single racist or prejudicial comment to someone out-of-character and you're gone. Such behavior is only ok from your character.
  
  
• No Bailing. One of the big problems with playing in online forums is that people sometimes vanish and leave others hanging. Don't do it. We are reasonable and understanding, but if you don't plan on staying then don't start at all.
  
  
• This is known as a freeform play-by-post (pbp) role playing game. Freeform because the rules are very flexible, and allow for all the players to get creative with their writing without worrying about breaking them.
  
  Playing is done by writing your character's actions in the forum that describes where your character is and responding to what other characters are doing. You can only respond to people's actions and play your character, you can't write for other people (That's called cheating, or autoing) and you can't kill them unless they agree or a staff member ok's it.
  
  Remember: You cannot kill another player's character without having permission to do it, or unless a staff member says you can. That means that your play should not revolve around trying to kill other characters. Boo hoo. Make friends with people and work out a plot.
  
  
• Keep IN and OOC SeperateIf you are in the middle of a role play thread, keep it seperate either with ((double parathesis)) or with [[double brackets]] just so that people know what is going on. On the same vein, if your character is leaving a thread, post that as well as where you are going, if you know, so that anyone playing with you can follow.
