Has anyone noticed that there are some major similarities in Disney movies? Well... post your observations here. ^.^

I was watching Cinderella the other day, and thought that the evil stepmother looks a lot like Maleficint, and Lucifer, her cat sometimes looks like the structure of the Cheshire Cat. eek I might just be nuts though.

The most striking similarity between Maleficent and the Stepmother, is that they have the same voice actress, so of course they would have some of her physical features.

Scar and Jafar look kind of similar...
I mean, in that they both have black hair (mane for Scar), angular facial features, and a long, jutting chin.
That's the first thing that comes to mind anyways.

interesting. I always loved how though- like Maleficent and the Stepmother- Disney always takes physical features and puts them into the animated character.

Like the satyr from Hercules! Apparently, the character and the actor looked a lot a like.
(Sorry, I can't remember his name exactly.... I want to say Phillip and Phillies)

Oh! The god who wears the toga and has the grapes above his ears and the cup of wine in Hercules looks like that one dude from Fantasia with the half human, half horse people and he rides on that small black donkey. They look alike!

Anyone notice the connection between Flora (sleeping beauty), the Fairy Godmother (cinderella), Aunt Sarah (lady and the tramp), The Queen of Hearts (alice in wonderland), and Winifred (the jungle book)?
