This thread is for people who are fans of the best member of the band, Ringo Starr (Richard Starkey)! Ringo is simply the best. He was the first really unique drummer in Rock 'n' Roll. He changed the drummer's position in a band for future generations. Even after the Beatles broke up in 1970, John wanted Ringo to play drums for him on his first solo record. Ringo has been doing movies, commercials, and other media activities. If you have anything else you want to add about Ringo, please post! heart Facts:Birth: 7 July 1940. Birthplace: Liverpool, England (A born "Liver-pooler") whee Beatles: Joined the Beatles in 18 August, 1962. Describing Ringo: Ringo is Ringo. - John Lennon

I always thought Paul was the most popular. Everytime I come across a Beatles fan (as rare as that may be), they always seem to like Paul the most. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy all the same, but he was never really my favorite Beatle. BUT, my 11th grade Engish teacher was a Beatles fan, which is awesome in its own right, but her favorite was George! It was so cool, because I was like "No way! He's my favorite too!" She was the coolest teacher...ever.
But back to Ringo, he's awesome! He's one of, if not the, best drummer in Rock and Roll History. I think he gets underestimated sometimes because he was never really loud or overbearing, or demanding drum solos all the time. He was happy enough just keeping a nice steady beat, which he was fantastic at, by the way. In fact, he protested doing his drum solo in The End, but they finally persuaded him to do it because it was nice and short; exactly the way it should be.
To sum it all up: Ringo is awesome beyond reason. heart

To sum it all up: Ringo is awesome beyond reason. heart I thought Paul was too. But I guess Texas loves John more because EVERYONE and their dog is a fan of John. I still love Paul and John though (but my friend calls Paul a attention whore).
I wish I could find a teacher that was a Ringo fan. My History teacher is a major Beatles fan (But her favorite is John), so I talk to her about the Beatles. She even played a movie that starred RINGO! *squee* I like to make fun of her for being a John fan, but just for fun. My Government teacher was a Beatles fan but did not have a favorite.
Yes, Ringo is one of the best drummers in the history of Rock 'n' Roll. As I said before, he took the position of drummer to new heights. Ringo never really liked drum solos from what I heard. But Ringo is still a great drummer. He is friendly, loveable, and easy-going.
He is simply the best.

My dog is more of a George fan. ^_^
It was Caveman. It was so funny. Once I saw Ringo's name in the opening credits, I started freaking out and my whole class stared at me like some weirdo.
