Im just wondering, my fav anime vers fav vid game, who will win? its a no guns battle, only swords, both are halve demon and can transform..... think about it.

Last time I had this debate it was inconclusive, neither I nor my opponent (great guy called Rashou) could agree on what the likely powers were for both, nor who was faster, stronger, etc.

Dante would pwn Inu, only because Dante's Devil Trigger powers are far better than Inu's powers.

Inu would stop in the middle of the battle and randomly yell "Kagome!" for no apparent reason, like he does in EVERY EPISODE, and then Dante would cut his head off.

By my understanding, Dante is profoundly stronger than Inuyasha.
However, this actually works to Inuyasha's benefit.
Have not any of you fanboys and girls out there heard of Inuyasha's most powerful technique? Backlash wave. With this attack, Inuyasha can create a catastrophic relatiation to his opponent's attack. However, this move is so powerful, it only works on foes that are tremendously stronger than himself.
Thus, any foes that fall under the category, as most of you here have put it, 'WINS HANDS DOWN!' would lose against Inuyasha because of this technique.
However, Dante still has a very high likelyhood of winning.

Dante doesn't typically use demonic abilities when he's swinging Rebellion around. Thus, Backlash Wave is useless. Dante wins. You did make a valid point, though, and I appreciate that mrgreen

Just because Backlash Wave is useless doesn't mean Dante will win. Inuyasha still has the Windscar.
So, as far as I can tell, these two can claw, slash, and shoot at each other all day long, but neither would win until one or the other pulls off some massive finisher. Inuyasha seems to have the edge here with the Windscar. I don't know if Dante could block it with Royal Gaurd or not though, seeing as how Inuyasha can cut through Demonic barriers, I don't know if Royal Gaurd registers as this as well.
And Dante does have a a huge demonic aura attack, though you don't actually use it in Gameplay. Jackpot anyone?

Yeah, I believe Dante would win. While Inuyasha has powerful techniques, they drain his demonic power and weaken him. Meaning if he uses them too much it'll give Dante a big adavantage because Dante likes to dodge attacks like that. Dante however rarely uses his demonic powers like Devil Trigger. In the cut scenes of all the games and in the anime of Devil May Cry the time spent transformed lasted maybe 5 minutes tops. Also, Dante is a combo stringer as well. He tends to make mince meat out of his opponents with his S(moking)S(ick)S(tyle). Plus Dante doesn't wear Fire Rat Hair clothes to protect him, just his flesh is used to stop attacks.

Inuyasha's moves don't weaken him!
He has been seen throwing twelve Windscars consecutively day by day, battle by battle! Ever since he gained the ability to use the windscar at will, he throws those things around like Kagome. (*Cough* *snicker*)

Sorry but Dante would win hands down. He is too worried about Kagome to concentrate on the battle. Dante has no distractions, true Inu has the Windscar but if it misses or even if it hits Dante can still win. Besides if Inu uses the Windscar then Dante can just use Quicksilver to avoid it and take Inu out!!!!
