I was just wondering about Andromeda Black. Do you think she will have a big role in the 7th book? I seems unlikely JK would mention her for no reason but we are told so little about her.

JKR doesn't just throw in new characters for no reason, so Andromeda will probably be mentioned again in a important part.

Andromeda Black-Tonks is not dead. She's Tonk's mom, and even if she doesn't have a central role, she'll probably have a more upfront role. JK is interesting that way, in that characters show up when we least expect them.

I doubt either Tonks parent will play a bigger role then the one they are currently playing. They may be a causulty in the war though.....

What did she really think about her daughters marriage to Remus? Was the disappointment all in Remus's head?
Did Andromeda raise Teddy, or did Harry do so, with Andromeda helping?

savannatiger09 Meh...I dunno...she's dead remember? It was never mentioned in any of the previous books that she was actually dead. reponse to spoiler - highlight I do think most if not all the disappointment was in Remus' head. He's very self-doubting and doesn't really seem to have too much confidence in himself or people liking him because of what he is. Afterall, Andromeda was Sirius' favorite cousin which has to say something for her.
I'm not sure. I wondered that myself. I suppose Harry as godfather might have raised him, at least after getting settled himself.
