*Looks into a pool as the light of the twin full moons makes him remember.*It was warm that night when the soldiers came.Sitting near the second story window of my room I could see the lights of Cherry Blossom City and the shadows of the soldiers marching along the trail leading to my masters' temple/fighting dojo. I went to tell Chun-Li that there are intruders in the forest. she said you are safe here and not to worry.

*gazes painfully up at the sky, clutching the fabric of her skirt as she remembers that night* I'd been laying in my room at the dojo... It was a peaceful night. The crickets were chirping happily. I must have dozed off, because the next thing I knew my sister was shaking me asleep screaming "Run! Run!"...
I didn't understand...until I saw the open wound in her stomach...

This is what happened two years ago... The Northern Kingdom was a barren continent, where there was danger abound. The castle town was far off, however, a dragon held the citizens captive. "Master... Why didn't you give me the answer? How can I possibly find out how to use my evil spells for a good cause without your guidance? Why did you leave me..." Rob continued to walk on the deserted path, katanas in both hands. He shivered due to the cold, and cast a flame spell to warm himself.

Rob approached a small village covered in a blanket of snow. "..." He walked directly into the town, as he needed to spend the night somewhere.
The town was deserted. There was no sign of life in any hut, so he decided he might as well just go in one and make shelter there. Rob walked into a small hut, and looked around. "...Odd. The village is deserted, but the buildings are in good condition... The people must have left recently, but there shouldn't be any reason all of the townsfolk left." He decided to look around some more, and entered another section of the hut. Rob gasped and took a step back.

"!!!" Blood was splattered everywhere. On the walls, on the floor, on the bed, everything was covered in dried blood. But that wasn't the worst part. A dead body covered in wounds and burns was laid on the blood-stained bed. Footprints of blood led from the bed to the window, with dark red fingerprints on the window itself. Not being able to stand the horror of this scene, Rob quickly fled the hut. "I... I have to get out of here!" He ran from the village, desperately trying to get away from the gruesome scene.

"Good work. The Dark Lord will be pleased to hear this." Far off in the Shadow Realm, a soldier gave the leader of its troop information about a certain area of the Northern Kingdom.
"Just a few more villages, and then we'll come out of the shadows. Our next target is the small farming village to the east of the Great Sea, correct?" The leader of the troop nodded, and the soldier left. "Everything's going according to plan. The next Dark Lord must accept his destiny."
"Hmph, a demon. He must have been the one who killed the people of this village." Rob looked back at the man in the village. "Who are you?"
