I went online to order the Halo 2: Vol 1 soundtrack which features, among other things, the 4 part Odessey by Incubus. Which is why I bought it. I've heard everything from "this is some of their best work" to "it's good if you like video game music." Anyway, have any of you heard it? What do you guys think of it? I'm pretty excited about some new Incubus personally (especially that new album!!!)

Yeah I've heard it, though i'm vaguely aware at the moment of what it sounds like since ive only listened to it once. I thought it was border-line beautiful myself, but i guess that's just because I was so awe-struck that Incubus would be doing the music for a title that was expected to attract so many buyers. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's their best work yet, but i would go as far as a couple steps in that direction, instrumentally.

And yeah! IM PSYCHED FOR LIGHT GRENADES!!! I think in the haphazard pattern Incubus follows for their albums, Licht Grenada(s) will surprise us all and still be a gorgeous landmark set by Incubus. I have nothing but the highest hopes for it.

Apparently The Odessey is just a studio version of their live solos for Vitamin and Sick Sad Little World only cleaner and with a little more. So very awesome... I really want my band to cover the exteneded Sick Sad Little World... That would be great...

it wasnt in sick sad little world
but the whole vitamin thing was just because they wanted to perform some of the 20 minute odyssey so they used a drum solo to seuge into it

Maybe not the Alive At Red Rocks version... I may have been thinking of the 2004 bootlegs... I should have read this before posting on those other things... All I know is that I had heard almost the whole Odessey before
