Sometimes when I go fishing the Naruto series is brought up, and while most people say they've only seen the dub, some people claim to have seen the 'animated timeskip' which isn't true as the timeskip hasn't been animated yet -_- observe this conversation:

skaffe: i love those naruto epiosodes where they are like 17 years old

Ryuurin: the timeskip is only in the manga

Ryuurin: it hasn't been animated yet razz

skaffe: yes it is

skaffe: i saw them

skaffe: there sasuke dies

Ryuurin: Sasuke doesn't die

skaffe: yes he dies

Ryuurin: he came back a few chapters ago, but then he disappeared again

Haruhi-Chan xD: how does he dies?

Ryuurin: he doesn't die D:

Haruhi-Chan xD: ^^;;

skaffe: nope i saw the time skip episodes

skaffe: and he dies

Ryuurin: the timeskip hasn't been animated

Ryuurin: what episode number are you on?

skaffe: yep but my friend dad is work there so he show us them

skaffe: so we have checked the time skip thing already

skaffe: only my friend dad computer have them

Ryuurin: the timeskip is only in the manga at the moment, the anime is
still showing fillers...

skaffe: naruto and hinata go together

Ryuurin: even in the timeskip, Hinata only appears once >_<

Ryuurin: the anime would never animate a timeskip that doesn't
correspond to the manga

Ryuurin: his dad isn't Kishimoto x_X he can't decide the future of the
Naruto series.

skaffe: but hes working manga/anime plaze

Ryuurin: he can't just make up the anime, it has to correspond somewhat
atleast with the manga

skaffe: no he dont make it he put it on

skaffe: so he show us the episodes

skaffe: you are just jealous

I ignored this person from that point on. This has happened to me before, only that other person harrassed me until I blocked and reported him x_x He said that I shouldn't like Neji because he killed Hinata, I told him that wasn't true, that Hinata was still alive in the series. He then claimed he saw "All 56 episodes of Naruto" >_>;;

Has this ever happened to you?

My friend, her brother was continuously saying that he'd seen timeskip eps. too. So I feel your pain. He would tell me every single Saturday when I'd see him, "Oh my gosh! I was over at my friend's house last night, and he's been downloading the newest Naruto!! I don't know much about it, since I just started watching it with him, but wow, they're like 3 years older now, it's sooo cool!! Have you seen the new episodes?!" I'd calmly explain to him that the anime was in fillers, not the timeskip, but he just persisted... Finally, when I started grilling him on what happens in the timeskip(and I didn't know too much myself, since at that point I had only just begun reading the manga) I started believing him. Stupid me. But, I told him to ask his friend for the episode names and #'s, and to bring me a copy of one- I even gave him a blank CD so his friend couldn't use that as an excuse. Well, two weeks later, he came back and told me that his friend didn't have the episodes anymore, and that he thought he might have been wrong about the timeskip. After a few more weeks, he finally admitted he was lying. But ugh!!! People like that annoy me sooo much!!! So I feel for you!

i've only come across that once. it was some kid that knew i loved naruto, and he wanted to "show" that he was a fan.

Ah yes... There's a person going to be hokage before Naruto...? And they'll choose him because he probably looks like Orochimaru and has an obsession with going immortal... Oh! And Tsunade and Jirajia get together...?! Of course, I expected that... I get it now...

They only do that to show off, or to make people think they're a better fan than you. Liars annoy me SO bad. -.-

So right you are >.< Just recently something else happened while I was fishing, a person claimed to be Sasuke's English voice actor, but they didn't even spell his name right! I think they said 'sake' or 'suka' or something weirdass like that >_>;;

It's because of these random 'fake fans' that jump into the Naruto fandom just cause everyone else is doing it, that the Ninja headband is skyrocketing.

I guess people just suddenly get guts and they try to show of because the people they talk to don't know them and they'll never meet them... To some people I guess it's alluring to be idiots and jerks. People like that should learn that that's just not the way to behave. *sighs* I know people like that- in real life-, who get all bossy and insult you on the net but, when I actually see them, it's a bit less of that and more: "Heeey!! How was your day?!" and when you actually try to tell them that if they ever act like that to you again you'll actually insult them back, they're angry...

Those kinds of people should learn how to behave... And get a life...
