The Whitelight Tavern, so called because it catches the reflection of the sun off of Central Tower eight hours of the day, so much so in fact the hours have been painted across the top of it. Other than this the tavern looks like all the other buildings with wooden frames, door and windows and a thatched roof. Inside the bar however is very different. The floor is made of thin white pine boards that are waxed and stained to give off a modern glow. The walls are a darker wood and are only sanded down. Straight across from the door is the bar which is made of red oak and trimmed with white pine. The bar has stools all along the front that are red wood as well to match. Behind the bar is a door leading into the storage room and on the wall next to the door are long shelves holding glasses. Under the bar sits the bottles and kegs of the many fine beverages that the tavern serves.

To the left and right of the door and the bar are two rooms. Both rooms have large open doors leading into them. They are both filled with waist high round tables made of stained oak. On the tables are white candles in clear glass holder and around the tables are four chairs made of sanded oak.

Just left of the bar just before the door was a set of stairs leading up into the second story of the tavern is where all the rooms are located. The floor, walls, and ceiling of the first hall are made of gray ash wood, as well as the doors to these rooms. The rooms themselves are made of a stained pine wood with one large window, a bed, and a table. At the end of the hall, it splits into two ways. To the left is a nicer hall made with sanded pine wood. The rooms are a bit larger and have larger beds, a table, large window, and a wash basin. To the right of the first hall is the hall for the owners of the tavern. This is where they have their own rooms. The hall is made of stained red wood with dark rugs in front of every door and candles on the walls. Each room is large and is furnished in any way the owner pleases.

Under the tavern are the storage rooms. It is here that the bulk of the supplies are held in large cashes. Kegs are kept on wooden holders stacked up five high with a rope tied around them to keep them from falling. The bottles are kept ether in wines holder on their sides or in boxes stacked in the corners. The storage rooms are two different rooms and only the owners and the bar tenders have keys to enter.

A long parchment of paper has been nailed to the wall near the entrance for all to see...

This is a bar for those seeking a safe place to stay and a good place for a drink. We ask that you try and refrain from fighting in side the bar as to avoid damage.

We also ask that you do not conduct any illegal activities, as it does not look good for the tavern and you will most likely be thrown out. Please refrain from attacking the bartenders and the waitstaff. It is okay to talk with them but try not to keep them from their jobs. Thank you.

Russell, like his brothers before him, has put his share of his fathers fortune into opening a Bar. Coming to this town in hopes of finding a safe home for him and his family to live, Russell settled in quickly, helping out wherever he could and even joining the local watch scheme. After leaving for many years he returned only to reestablish his roots and restore his prized bar to it's former standards. He tries to ensure his doors are open all hours to any travelers or strangers looking for a place to rest their feet and wet their whistle.

Diago & Marina

Diago and Marina where already living and working in bars around Havencrest. Diago quit his job in the Colosseum bar simply for a change nobody knows why he refused to wear shoes but it doesn't prevent him from being a winner with the local ladies. Marina was a close friend of Russell's son, Robyn, and took the job as a personal favor and in hopes of bumping into her long lost friend again.





Lexi, Alex & Croe
(Waiting Staff)

Lexi and Alex are half siblings working to help their human father keep his home in Havecrest, an expensive place to live if you're not a member of the UBN. And Croe is in fact Mayor Bradocks daughter and simply works to pass the time until she is old enough to enter the Arenas herself.

Brilliskimatii'nee'ma'tockkke "Brill"

Russell met Brill in an unusual dimension and the two of them became firm if unlikely friends. Originally a keen player of the Xigir'wumper, Brill is a natural when it comes to any instrument, but his all time favorite of this dimension and many others is a grand piano that he plays at the bar with huge finesse.
