Well I'm pretty much stuck. I haven't been getting any better for the past year or so. whats weird is that I know what I do wrong its just I don't know how to fix it or I'm too lazy to try and fix it.

anyone else having this problem? [its probally a motivation problem since very few people play Initial D at my arcade anymore]

also if you want you can help me out at these diffrent courses where I go wrong. [I drive an 85 and beat bunta at least once on each course though i havent really tried because i've been out of practice so I lose half of the time and get frustrated]

which should I learn first. eraser, 5-in-4out, both at the same time, or get my normal driving down first...

Hap [IB?]: the wierd shaped right hairpin before the long straight before the snake hairpins.
-the end where do you let off the gas?

Sho [OB?]: M turn. I cant do this for anything. best I can do is shift down to 3rd otherwise I eat wall.
-should you block bunta in the beggining? he messes me up when he rams my back but he gets a huge lead if I don't [and I have trouble with passing when his butt is in my face, for I look at the road for turning not memory/map]

Tsu OB: first turn [after you're up to speed and it reminds you of the oil turn] do you only let off the gas in a drifty car like the 85 or tap the break maybe?
-Pylon Turn do you break at all and hows the line? i let off the gas for the left kink and dont get back on the gas till apex of the pylon turn.
-Rollercoaster... break? let off gas really early? downshift for a little? best I've done was probally 128 which is between 4th and 5th and is between slow and slow.
-the right turns after rollercoaster. theres like 3 of them and the last one I sometimes hit the wall. I should probally let off gas huh... although i'm not used to it because of my slow rollercoaster exit speed.
-the left turn at the end. i usally eat wall or needlessly downshift.

Hmm..It seems like your having a tad bit of a problem here...I suggest For the Bunta Challenges to at least HT or FT the car...I HT my 32 and I owned bunta in straight runs for quite some time....And for the 5 and 4 out...I suggest learning that first...Cause It's good to get used to that first...Also cause People are rumoring you can't eraser in the upcoming Ver 4.

The first few stars you can defintaly beat him. Remember you don't need to break on Myogi with any car. You can floor just floor it. At about 8 star you need to start blocking him. I drive an NA so I know how it feels to have an under powered car

I'm not really understanding the question. Usui Bunta is the easiest in the game. You don't have to downshift in this level... just break... no erasers either... floor everything exsept the 2 hairpins and the wide turn.

Okay... First turn with the NA you can take at 125-127. Many BETTER cars can take it faster to 133ish. The V turn is actually pretty easy. Start on the left side... Shift down to 3rd break and turn. Wall tap is alright over here so you bounce off back on the course then shift up to 4th

THe 85 does very well in Akina. It's best course without a doubt. If you're taking the gutter but comming out in 4th you're raping the wall. You should try to NOT take the gutter until you understand how to take it. I'm not sure what the fireworks turn is... but I'm guessing that's the turn leading into the long streight... Just turn and break nothing really special

Snow is easy if you take it slow. Break and shift down BEFORE the turn. Turn the wheel all the way then ease off and let your car slide into it. You should take each turn at about 110 with an NA... I'm not sure about an 85. Of course this is average some turns you can take faster or slower.

I don't know... I wall tech it... I completely forgot how to play this level legitimatly

Stay wide and turn inside. DO NOT STAY ON THE INSIDE ON THIS TURN. The end you can just floor it. You're better off wall Taping the inside then letting go of the gas and getting understeer.

You have to shift to 3rd with an 85 on Shomaru at the M Turn. YES YOU SHOULD BLOCK HIM! It's hard to pass if you don't exspecially when you go into the later stars. However... he shouldn't give THAT BIG of a lead... It's okay to let him go if you can't take the turn... there are about 5 spots you can pass him on Shomaru

First turn for the NA (which is the worst car in the course) you can Feint and let go of the gas. You should take it about 135 but you CAN take it at 138-9

Poly is the one after the cones? All you have to do is tap the Break hit the gas for a little bit then tap the break at the next spot. and floor it. Turn the wheel all the way.

Roller Coaster! Fun Fun stuff. Should exit tunnel at 157 minimum. Eraser once and turn the wheel to the left. Release the gas turn right left right break gas. Can't explain it really all that well... however you should enter at 134-143 lol. For the other 3 turns stay on the outside and just release the gas to enter each turn

One must always solidify the basics first before moving on to the advanced stuff. Therefore, practice your normal driving before you deviate and try to go with the other crazy stuff.

and jdub4. do points really matter that much? I always thought after BT they didn't matter too much. (of course when battleing a FT and a BT with similar drivers then the FT would win) and I'm almost at HT anyways.

I dunno...It depends on the feel of your car I guess...When I HT my BNR32..It felt so much better and I broke Machine records for Shomaru and Myogi..And right after that I beat Bunta 7 straight.

The estimates between a stock car and a FT car in terms of times range from about 3-5 seconds, on average.

Draw your conclusions from there.

Haha...Myogi times. Oh man...I stopped at like, 54 with my R32. Didn't bother to learn the correct line for Myogi, but it was fun taking the record at my arcade with one shot.
