Oh Great, The DUCK Has The Key...Welcome to the second main plot of Tokyo Mew Mew Academy. Before anyone asks, the picture at the top is NOT my artwork. I found it on another website. It is, however, an accurate representation of the white winged duck.
I hope that this plot is a little bit easier to go with than the first one (also known as "Don't Press The Button"), since it is actually Tokyo Mew Mew related, and not everyone transforming into video game characters or anything similar. No, it has everything to do with Ryou being an idiot, and a certain duck being kidnapped. Table of Contents --Introduction --Rules --Plot

Rules 1. No godmodding/powerplaying. This is defined by us as controlling others' characters, being super powerful/fast all the time, and being unaffected by or dodging every attack. So basically, no auto-hitting, and you have to take at least a few of the attacks aimed at your characters... 'kay?
2. Please don't ignore anyone. There might be a time when someone is doing something really insignificant and there is no point to notice them. If you feel as if you're ignored, first try to make yourself known, and if that isn't working, PM whoever you feel is ignoring you, even if it's everyone. Or you can post in OOC in this thread... I don't mind.
3. Please at least try to be active. There is no penalty for not posting for a certain amont of time, unless you are playing a character original to Tokyo Mew Mew, but it would make the RP much more fun if each person was active
4. Please try to keep cussing to a minimum. It doesn't bother me, but seeing curses 15 times in one post gets pretty annoying after a while.
5. No double posting in character is permitted. There is a little thing called an edit button, after all. Note that I don't mind 2 OOC posts in a row, because they might have two completly seperate topics, or you're pointing something out.
6. OOC is done in ((TEXT)), (TEXT), {Text} [Text], and so on. Please do not have your OOC be in a format such as:
OOC: TEXT IC: TEXT
It bothers some of the crew members, and it certainly bothers Kira. So... let's not bug her, okay?
7. Tokyo Mew Mew Academy Gaia is a semi-literate plus guild. That means no typing 'lyke dis', or using u for you, r for are, b for be, et cetera. I, personally, would like to see correct grammar (for the most part...), which means using punctuation (periods, question marks, exclaimation points, quotations marks, et cetera), and not using things like 'their' for 'there' or vice versa. I won't get mad if you mess up the grammar, though. Grammar is hard, and I know that. I always have lots of comma splices...
8. Please try to stick to what is going on. So if everyone else is at the cafe, don't be at the mall. Or if everyone is in the alien dimension, don't be in a park near the mall. Get it? Got it? Good.
9. HAVE FUN!!! Now what kind of a vice-captain of the guild would I be if I didn't want you to have fun? mrgreen I'm serious here, just try to have fun with the plot. I'm more lenient in roleplays than I am in the fanworks subforum. A LOT more lenient.
And remember, the crew will be checking this thread on a regular basis (hopefully). This means that you can't break the rules. I think that I might use my consequences that I have set up in the fanworks subforum... okay, not really, but I do want to make sure that everyone follows the rules.

Oh Great, The DUCK Has The Key - Plot Ryou left his key to Cafe Mew Mew inside, and all the mews have to find the extra, since Keiichiro is on vacation, and Keiichiro locked the cafe after Ryou left his inside. After searching for a while, they come to the conclusion that it is no longer around the Cafe. Quickly after that decision is reached, they notice that Basil never showed up, and someone suggests the idea of that Basil might have the key, having likely stolen it. Oh... and there's a barrier around the cafe that keeps the Alien Mews from teleporting in and out of it... something that the Aliens came up with (uhh... Pai...). After this information is about where the actual roleplay starts. It is extremely important that the following characters are kept active within this roleplay: Basil, Ryou, Kisshu, Pai, and Tart. It is also important that Kiichigo and Sekkai have a certain conversation within context... also, it is necessary to remember that in order to confront the aliens, the mews will have to go into the alien's dimension. In order to do that, there has to be a way to get in. And Ryou can't access his computers and such to find a way in, because he doesn't have the key. Remember that. Oh yeah... and no breaking through windows. That's part of the barrier, too. The windows, doors, and walls are made much much stronger. I won't be the first to post in character. Someone else will have to. The setting, at the moment, it right in front of the main door to Cafe Mew Mew.

((I don't really have anything to post, since the current setting is in the front of Cafe Mew Mew and we are assuming that all of this has already happened...))

(I havw nothing to post the I can think of as well, seeing as it's kind of complicated what to make your charatcer do and say..... sweatdrop I'm also kind of confused because I haven't really taken the time to learn all of the characters, seeing as I didn't take part in the first Main RP.)

((Since no one else seems to want to post first, I suppose I will. Although I realize that not much is probably going to happen in the near future even with me doing so, seeing as Cinna, Kira and I will be going to the beach for the weekend.))
Ceviche stared at the closed doors of the café, knowing that they wouldn't open no matter how hard she tried. And the alien mews were unable to get in for some strange reason. Why exactly the other aliens wanted to keep the Mews out of the café was beyond her. Sighing, she found herself a comfortable spot by a nearby tree and pulled out a book. It was a good thing she had brought said book, at least in her opinion.

"Oh Great, the duck has the key" Sekkai said, in a very happy tone of voice. Kiichigo's eyes narrowed, as if she was angry.
"Oh Great, the DUCK has the key" She said.
"Is that a bad thing?" Sekkai asked.
"Yes, due to the fact that we can't get into the cafe, it is supposed to open in half an hour, there is a device thing that won't let the alien mews teleport in or out of the cafe, and it's slightly obvious that Basil has the key, and he isn't here!" Kira said, basically talking for Kiichigo.

Kakiko stared at the cafe, hoping she'd be back inside it soon. This was not a good thing that she could not get into that. Turning to look away from the cafe, she began to wonder why the aliens were doing this. Payback? Fun? Reasons I don't know?, she listed.

"Of course Basil-kun has the key!" Cinna exclaimed, angry at Kiichigo and Sekkai, "He always keeps it around, since he's afraid that us girls are going to plot something against him, and lock him out of the Cafe. Why did I forget about that...?"
"Because you're a senseless moron," Pepper and Ginger replied harshly. Then Pepper added, "But there's no sense worrying about it. We can always go to the alien's dimension and find him. If the aliens made a barrier around the cafe, then Basil has to be there. I'm sure Kisshu had a hand in this... he's the only one who really talks to us a lot when we're on D.B. duty."
"D.B. duty...?" Brownie asked, her face pale as a ghost's, "How can you say such a thing??? You need to at least have honor for Deepu-Buru-sama or whoever else we serve..."
"Not the point, Brownie." Minto butted in, "And in case you didn't notice, there's no open way to get into the alien's dimension. Or had you forgotten?"
"Did you forget that we can teleport in and out freely?" Thyme asked, "We can bring people with us, as well, so it won't be too hard. Right, Cinna-no-baka?" the alien mew mew leader barely nodded her head, still a little angry.

((I really don't have much to say, since I don't have a mew mew character... I'll post something anyway. Oh, and I'll be gone for a few days... I'm traveling, and I will have no access to the internet.))
Eclair hovered over the cafe. "It seems someone did something right," she muttered, holding her right hand over the hilt of one of her swords. It seemed that she would be able to exact her revenge on the mew mews, if everything went according to plan. "So the boy we captured earlier's name is Basil-kun, huh? That should be useful information..."

((Hee hee, Shirley, Kira, and I are back from our vacation! It sure was nice to be elsewhere for the weekend... not that I didn't miss everyone here, though!))
Cinna looked up, and spotted Eclair. "Look, it's one of the other aliens!" she exclaimed, pointing. "What's she doing here, anyway?"
"Probably seeing what we all make of Basil being captured, I bet," Brownie replied, bored. She flicked a small bug off of her arm. "And if we figure out how to get into her dimension without Ryou's computer. You do realize that this is a serious problem, right?"
"That's true. If Ryou can't access his computer, he can't locate any new chimeras all throughout Tokyo!" Thyme replied, half simply, half worried. "And if he can't locate the chimeras, we can't fight them. It's that simple."

Azuki teleported in and appeared above the Mews. "Hey, all! How's life?" she asked.

"I don't think we will answer that Question" Kiichigo said coldly to Azuki.
Kira, completly ignoring the fact that Azuki and Eclair were there, Said, "Well, we have Masha, and last time I checked, he had the ability to track Chimera Animas. And really, can't you guys teleport all of us into the alien dimention? It might be the smartest thing to do at this point."
"But wait a sec, if they have Basil, then couldn't he teleport to here?" Sekkai asked.
"They probably have him locked up, with a copy of one of these devices around wherever he is, keeping him from teleporting." Kira pointed at the device in the grass.

"You mean that boy we captured earlier?" Eclair asked, teleporting down to the mews. She stood next to the one girl who appeared to be entirely alien, Brownie. "He's in one of our forcefields. I'm not sure who designed them, but they work perfectly." She shrugged slightly, an evil grin creeping onto her face. "He was pretty noisy earlier. He said something about a girl named Cinna who was going to rescue him... that, my dear friends is what I would call a wimp. He should try to get out himself, you know. It's what most prisoners would do, I should think." She remained at the ground for a moment, and then teleported back up to where she had been. She felt it was her right to taunt them.
((I asked Cinna if it was okay for Eclair to say what Basil would have said. I hope no one else minds...))

Azuki frowned. "Can't say he's a very good prisoner. But, male Mews aren't very common," she said with a chuckle. "I wonder if he's okay with being one of the few male Mews in existence." Azuki played with her hair for a second. "Actually, you know, I don't really care."
Leichi came running up to the Cafe'. "I heard..." she panted. "Something..." Pant. "Was... wrong?" she asked putting her hands on her knee and bending over. Leichi panted for a couple more seconds. "So I sprinted over."
