Why had she let her curiousity get the better of her? Why oh -why- had she let her curiousity get the better of her? It was unlike Leboya to wander into unknown territory.. especially..

a place so dark and.. WHAT'S THAT?

The brightly colored lioness suddenly froze in her tracks, poking her paw against what appeared to be some sort of white stick, sticking out of the earth. A curious look came over her face as she considered it, before nodding firmly.

Yep! She had -no- idea what that was. It sure didn't -look- famliar. Especially since it wasn't Leboya whom stripped her dead quarry in hunts down to the bone..

thus, she wasn't aware that her poking-object was.. well.. once alive.

"... How odd...."

Lamyae could feel a change in the wind, or rather the voice in her head had said she would meet someone pleasant today, and she hoped desperatly it would be the one to help her with her almighty quest; recruiting.

The dusty black hyena had only entered the graveyard because the voice urged and threatened. She wandered amid old elephant's bones, ones that had long lost the scent of their former selves. The bones were frightening to her and she was sure there would be a ghost any moment.

Sure enough there was a large--odd colored purple ghooost...?

"G-g-g-hoost!" She whooped half stuttering half yelling, frozen in her tracks.

Leboya suddenly perked up alertly at the outcry of the hyena, looking about paranoidly. What? Where. Showme..

"!!"

Running in a condensed circle, akin to when a dog chases it's own tail, the jellyfish lioness attempted to, in the blur of scenery, spot this ghost.... which, for her, was only the dark figure of Lamyae, causing her to pause, stare at her for a minute, before screeching;

"GHOST!" while pointing to her, before skittering off to hide behind one of the boney remains, peeking out from behind it to stare at the 'ghost' in question.

......

Wait..

"... You aren't a ghost!" Leboya seemed to realize, before popping back out of her hiding spot and sitting down to look over the hyena appraisingly. "... What ghost are -you- yelling about?"

"Why, you're the ghost. Well, I would assume not, getting a better look at you. I believe there are spirits among these bones, and I though you one of them," her voice had calmed down from the shrill whoop and she was holding back her laughter. Her voice was soothing, like that of a meditation tape.

"I am Lamyae, and you might be?" She stepped forward better to inspect the lioness. It was a bad thing to trust a lion so openly, but she was the trusting sort and trusted her voice/gift to warn her if this creature should attack. "I preach love to all," she added in matter'o'factly.

"Me? A ghost?" Leboya seemed to chuckle at the notion, shaking her head a bit. "I am but a rogue. Leboya in name." she replied, tacking her name onto the end of the title, before bowing her head to the smaller creature of the savannah.

"Spirits you say? Why this place in particular?" she inquired naively, being as she wasn't familiar with the concept of a graveyard, having never come across one in her travels.

Her expression lit up a couple of levels when the hyena labelled her 'quest', nodding a bit.

"Ah yes, love is a thing worth preaching, my friend." the lioness agreed, having had been preaching the same goal only a week before to a lion whom was almost a stranger in all ways.

"Glad to not be the only one sharing the message."

Lamyae bobbed her head quietly thinking over what to answer to Leboya, her eyes flicking back and forth studying the lioness. She liked her, she wasn't threatening in the least and seemed laxed.

"When an elephant passes on into the world in the sky they lay their physical bodies here, and rot and become that bones you were hiding behind," she smiled still stiffening the laughter. Not that this was a moment to laugh, she just was almost always compeled to let out a bone chilling laugh.

"It is good to see another with such noble thoughts, what brings one such as your self to the bones?" She wasn'y about to tell the lioness she too was new here.

An awkward look came over Leboya's face as she peered over her shoulder, eyeing the pile of bones there, before discreetly scooting away from them, blushing a bit, then laughing. "Ah. I see."

Well -that- explained a... well.. a little bit.

"I've not seen many elephants.. but that seems to make a good deal of sense....... I.. guess.. I'unno.. I haven't talked to any elephants in my wandering, so maybe it doesn't make sense..."

Shifting a bit, in place, Leboya jerked her head in the general direction of the pridelands. "I was actually just passing by from my ventures in the lands of a nearby pride, but something about this place compelled me to come and investigate.."

A frightened shudder ran up her spine.

"Though right now, I'm wishing I hadn't, since this place is so -creepy-"

"I'm ver suprised you havn't seen elephants, walk with me and I will show you a skull. To tell you the truth they are 'creepy.' but only because of what great creatures they once were made into mere..well..stone?" She mused allowed.

And without waiting for a response started to weave in and out of a few bones in search of an elephant's skull. They were lare of course, bigger than her but she thought she had seen a small one, probably a babies.

"Where are you from? If you do not mind my asking, the pride to thte south would be the PrideLands I was there recently on buisness."

"Nope. Never seen an elephant.." Leboya repeated, and though she wasn't too keen on the notion of walking around with the bodies of the dead, she was curious to see how big the skull of an elephant could POSSIBLY be.

She took her time as she walked, not seeming as keen to walk quickly, as the pace of the Hyena seemed to hint otherwise. Her pace instead gave her the opportunity to look around at everything that was in the area, some with curiousity, and others, with a sort of 'ick' expression on her face.

Her idle gazing at other subjects only lasted so long, as she looked back to Lamyae as she inquired her origins from her, before chuckling a bit.

"I am from nowhere, and I am from everywhere. That is the way of a rogue. We have no real homes, Lamyae. I will continue to wander until I find a place I desire above all other places that I want to be in."

"I am a rogue, but I do have my origins, I come from the heavens," aah, the beginings of her delusions, "The goddess gave birth to me." Her answer was simple and blunt as if it really were the truth, but then again it was to her.

"Oh here we have one!" She stopped looking up into the eye sockets of a young male elephant skull, it was still huge size wise but not as large as most.

And Leboya took no doubt in it. "Oh? Then perhaps you are a seer as well? I've heard that the children of most gods tend to be so, unless they are gods themselves.." Indeed, the lioness was too trusting in the words of others, no matter how unlikely they may have seemed.

She paused a bit, before looking over the skull that was shown to her, pacing about it in a considering manner, then nodding.

"It's quite small compared to the living creature.." she pointed out, climbing on top of it to sit on the higher-up perch it allowed.

"The goddess gives me visions, but if I am a seer I do not know," truth be told she thought herself to be a voice to a god, one that has not been proven to exist. "I am but a voice, one of many."

"I believe it was a child's skull, can you not feel the spirit still within it?" She looked up at the lioness, the purple mixed with the surounding areas made her seem like an earthly spirit.

"There are young ones born into a pack near here, they're lion haters. If I were you, which obviously I am not, I would be very careful in this area," it wa settled she did like this lioness, and she wanted Leboya to stay safe

Leboya was so tempted to chime up that 'I am not a lioness, I am a JELLYFISH', but decided it was not an apt comment for the warning, thus nodded her head to the hyena. "Ah. And for that warning, I thank you. I do not expect all places I enter to be Lion-friendly either.." she added.

How many times had she met one whom puffed up at her for being a lion, before she sat and calmed them down? She couldn't expect to have that luck with -all- high-strung and angry beings she met, though. So it was best she did not wander into the pack of .. well.. she'd guess it was a pack of hyenas from the way Lamyae had put it.

"Well, perhaps that's a good reason for me to not stay here longer then I must, correct?" she assumed, sighing a bit, then shaking her head. Oh, why did she have to be born into a hated species?

It did cause such a hassle sometimes...

"I am trying my best to reassure those I come in contact with that lions are indeed friends, they are not our enemies unless we fight back. And if a lion attacks us? They merely look bad if we do not attack back," she was long winded that was for sure! She liked to talk and it was something that undoubtable came naturally to her.

"I wouldn't be here myself if not for a little proding, I would rather be in the savannah. I do not like these bones, and do not know any from the near by pack..."

"May I ask if you've met any other hyenas? I am looking for a little black one, called Zin..?"

Leboya smiled and nodded, allowing the Hyena to speak her quest for the sake of lions and other species living together was possible, and that not all lions were evil.

Was it not the same thing that she herself was preaching the other day to a lion raised by wild dogs..? And then before that, to the pup of a wild-dog? Indeed, the pair shared a quest with each other.

"I see we share the quest of peace among species.." she mused, before considering the question that was inquired to her. Another hyena? She hadn't seen one in some time.

"I'm sorry... I haven't met any other hyenas lately, and I don't recall having met one named 'Zin' in my travels either. I will tell them you're looking for them if I do ever meet them, though." she offered, grinning.
