Has anyone seen the action-live movie? biggrin Since no one has made this topic, I think I should add it.

Well, I enjoyed it and I was wondering if any of you has seen it also. It's on YouTube but I think it's a really "must buy" movie for any NANA fans. biggrin Though there were some things I didn't think were great (Shin's actor..ahem), but it was a great movie and was a joy to watch. If you need the link, please tell me and I'd be glad to search YouTube for you to watch. biggrin

(All information acquired from www.nana-nana.net...plus, it's a great source for information about the movie. Highly recommend this site).

Well I gotta admit that there were some very minor problems in it for me. Like casting...Kenichi Matsuyama didn't make a very good Shin (though he made a very GOOD L for Death Note 3nodding ). I also didn't really like Ryuhei Matsuda as Ren...he wasn't really that good looking ... PLUS I'm a big Ren fangirl. sweatdrop But I heard that he was going to be changed.

But Mika Nakashima and Aoi Miyazaki really looked wonderful as their parts. heart I just think Mika-san was a little bit too cold for Nana Osaki. I see Nana as a livelier person than how Mika portrayed her.

But goodness...Tetsuji Tamayama made a really HOT Takumi. heart

Hm.. I would have to agree. I LOVE Nakashima Mika-san as in really, I absolutely LOVE her. She got the looks of Oosaki Nana but the attitude was a little of. She portrayed her colder than how she really is but nonetheless, for me she did a good job. Miyazaki Aoi-san really did a good job on Komatsu Nana. She really captured her style and the way she acts. As for Matsuda Ryuhei-san as Hanjou Ren, I would also have to agree that he isn't that great looking but I guess his performance was okay. I wouldn't really say that it's bad but it's just "okay."

Yes, Ryuhei Matsuda isn't a BAD actor. 'Course not. It's just I had a really high expectation since he was playing Ren.

And as the songs go, I believe the songs for the anime (Rose - Anna Tsuchiya and A Little Pain - OLIVIA) were much better suited than Glamorous Sky and Endless Story. I mean, Trapnest IS still a rockband and though I love Yuna Ito, it was a bit TOO pop-ish. And Blast is suppose to be PUNK rock...Glamorous Sky was just...rock. sweatdrop But they all are wonderful songs which I listen to in my dearest iPod...*runs to corner to listen to songs*

Anyways, I still gotta admit, I enjoyed the movie.

Oh and sorry if it sounds like I'm talking crap about the movie... sweatdrop I really hope you all understand that I really expected BIG from the movie.

No, no, I see what you're saying. Yes, you are right. To be perfectly honest, I did not like Ito Yuna-san's song. It isn't... rock at all. It was slow and yes, pop-ish. As for Glamorous Sky, I really like it. I mean, at least it's not pop-ish like the other song (sorry, I think the song's title is Endless Story but I didn't really pay attention because I didn't like it.. no offence to the fans) I guess it's mainly because I've been such a big fan of Nakashima Mika-san. I actually just found out about NaNa through the movie but now after reading the manga and watching the anime, I would have to say that the movie is still good but didn't capture most of the character. Like Yasu for instance, he was a little too serious in the movie and also Shin. He BARELY talked. But yes, If I compare the movie to the anime and manga, I would have to say that the anime and manga are much MUCH better. :3

Wow, you just found out about the manga through the MOVIE? eek That's amazing.

Actually I just discovered Olivia and Mika Nakashima through the movie and anime songs. Now I'm a huge fan of all of them (OLIVIA, Nakashima-san, Ito-san, and Tsuchiya-san).

Oh I know! Yasu, Nobuo, and Shin barely had anything to do with the story. Very disappointing. But I hear the 2nd one is going to be alot about Nana Osaki again. I really wish they'd talk more about Hachi and the others too. Lots of parts are missing that are pretty crucial to the manga/anime.

But I wonder how many movies they're planning to have based on NANA. Wish they'd make one of Paradise Kiss too though. 3nodding

It's kinda sad though because I found out like a while ago that Miyazaki Aoi-chan is going to be replaced by Ichikawa Yui. I searched google to compare how they look and stuff and I saw some pictures of Ichikawa Yui that made me think that she's not really cut out for the part. I view Komatsu Nana as more innocent, you know? I think Miyazaki Aoi-san did a really good job on her role as her. I just wonder how it will be in the second one since they replaced her...

Aww...I know waht you mean. gonk I wish they didn't have to replace anyone since I've gotten really used to the cast already...But I hope Yui-san can portray Hachi well since looking at the poll up there, I'm the only one who voted Aoi Miyazaki. sweatdrop Gahh...MAKE ME PROUD YUI-SAN!!!!!

I know how that is. My aunts don't like anime/Japanese stuff because of what the Japanese did to the Philippines back then. They were there and they experienced seeing Japanese soldiers slicing pregnant women's abdomens open and such so I guess I understand their side. However, they shouldn't force their opinions onto us because we're different from them 3nodding

Woah...descriptive there. But yes, my parents don't like me spending all my money on manga and Japanese stuff. They say it's a waste. But hey, I still do anyway. (Mwhahaha...my rhyming skills.)
