International Talk like a Pirate Day is on September 19. (If you haven't heard of it, yes it is a real thing) For information about Talk like a Pirate Day click here, which is the 'Talk like a Pirate Day site". In it they have translaters and name thingos and its pretty cool.
Well basically, on the day you talk like a pirate. Simple. So basically this post was made to ask:
1. Have you heard of it?
2. How are you going to celebrate?
3. What are your views about it?

Absolutely. I missed it last year, as I had work, and we had had little preparation for it. This year I will be planning to do something. Perhaps a bluefishing trip off the coast or some such thing. I don't plan to miss it his year if I can help it!

Awesome. I have heard about it before whilst searching the internet but I always forget when it is. I might actually be able to remember this year! mrgreen It's exactly one months from now. I'm not sure what I am going to do to celebrate, I might spend the day in some pirate gear or watch some pirate films.

I'm definitely gonna celebrate! Yay for Talk Like a Pirate Day! I'm hoping to get a nice new pirate hat to celebrate, and frighten all my friends by "arr"ing all day long. biggrin

Kenny and Aaron, A couple of tuba players in my school's marching band organized a talk like a pirate day party for the whole band!! IT WAS AWESOME!!! It was a huge party! (our band has like... 300 people!)

We have uniforms at our school but we are allowed to accssorize to a certian extent so I'm gonna start planning it as soon as possible! pirate
*I can't talk like a pirate at ALL, so I substitute by dressing up as one.*

I forgot it last year too, but when I typed in Pirates on the search thingo, the talk like a pirate thing popped up, so i will celebrate it now that I know the date. I'll probably dress like a pirate. I cant wait. Its not that long away now. pirate
