Certainly one of the most underrated Disney movies ever, did you guys enjoy this movie? If you haven't seen it, go out and watch it! I think it's fantastic. I was really surprised when I discovered for the first time that Tim Burton and famous Disney animator Andreas Deja both worked on this film, which really surprised me.

I love this movie! I just don't see why so many people have such a big problem with it. Like Song of the South, the controversy around them is just ridiculous.

Christian Fanaticals say that it's full of satanism and paganism. It's a dark movie, so it scares silly people.

3nodding Just as bad, only it was also the first cartoon ever rated PG. And in that time it wasn't acceptable to parents that a cartoon should be rated PG.

I found this website once.
listing every single reason that Harry Potter would make your child a pagan Satan-worshiping Wiccan fiend.
I remember my favorite sentence was "The Dragon stands for the Anti-Christ, while the Unicorn is clearly Satan."

I think that the big deal about "The Bloack Cauldron" is that not many people have seen it.
Personally, I think it is a great movie. They were able to tie the first two books together into a comprehensible plot. It is rated pg (at least the version I have) and it has abosolutly no singing (maybe one song by the bard).
It is also one of my most favorite Disney films, so I will fight with my pitchforks and torches to defend it. Rawr.
And unicorns are Satanic? Wait... It's the horn, right? I mean, devils also have horns, so I guess that's how it ties together...

I watched it for the first time last night just because of this thread! xd I loved Gurgy, didn't like the movie... sweatdrop

Yesh, tis an underestimated movie. I think it's pretty good, not my cup of tea, but pretty good.
