Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Lounge by the Moon, a very special area in Dracula's Castle, yet unexplored. I will be your host for the night, Lair Argyra.
Tonight we will be holding a Castlevania-inspired poetry contest, in which our contestants will show us their poetic skills and compete for a grand prize. However, my warning to those who are courageous enough to participate:
The entry fee is of 100 gold per participant. The poem must be Castlevania related. Poems will be submitted to me through mail, along with the entree fee, and later posted by me when all entries are in. A winner will be chosen through votes. The one with highest count of votes by the end of the voting period will receive the grand prize, which will consist of the sum of all entry fees. That's right, I will keep nothing. Anyone who wishes to donate gold, items, or art is welcome to do so. Donations will be added to the grand prize.
Please, be seated and enjoy the music, wine, cofee, and other appetizers while our contestants get ready.

Sounds fatabulous, how can I resist the temptation of such an offer? -helps himself to the wine and grabs his quill-
My gratitude to the gracious hostess.

dragontamer272 I'd like too but what do I gotta do? Plus, I never even know who to really write poetry. Write a poem, send it to her via PM. Then send a trade of 100 gold. Heh.

I'd love to write a poem! But first I've got to think of one. . . idea @_@ So, how much time do we have?

I think "when all the entries are in" meaning those who posted here submitted their poems?
I guess a month would be fair, since this guild doesn't get a lot of traffic everyday. (Yesh, I'm the guild stalker who's here almost everyday, unless I'm in school.)

meowmistress I'd love to write a poem! But first I've got to think of one. . . idea @_@ So, how much time do we have? I'm with Mistress on this. It will take me a long time to write a poem cuz I have no real inspiration at this time. Maybe if I had a nice G/F, he-he... mrgreen

Pretty sure it's dead. Even if the creator constantly came back, we still are missing the crucial ingredient... People who want to enter their poetry.

Yeah, it's too bad we CV gamers are not much poets, are we? And if there are any, they sure don't come here. rolleyes
Let me see...
Castlevania, oh Castlevania. to me thou are such a big mania, When I explore yer rooms and hallways, it makes me feel great such as always.
I don't care if yer enemies are usually the same, just as long as I don't get to feel the shame, of making me feel like I'm trying on some muzzle, kinda like I always do when I am playing a lousy puzzle.
I finally did it!

People in general, it's not too common to find someone who wants to publicly share their poetry. CV fans are already a small niche, add CV loving poets who actively participate, and there's pretty much none.

Shi_Yatsu People in general, it's not too common to find someone who wants to publicly share their poetry. CV fans are already a small niche, add CV loving poets who actively participate, and there's pretty much none. Clearly, you do not visit DeviantArt, DeadJournal, VampireFreaks, or any other site swamped with emo poetry. xd Plus you have to create a lure for it... no prize? Count me out. whee
