Hi guys,
Any thoughts about the newest Adult Swim addition, Crayon Shin-Chan? I've got to ask though. Is that really what the original Japanese script says?
Sonia confused
P.S. EDIT: Here are my thoughts so far now that it's on weeknights at 11:30 p.m. Central Time: There's so much buttocal muscle NUDITY eek !

I find it rather funny for not being the original script. I really like the title of one of the stories, in not sure if this is the exact wording but, "put your mouth on a sausage" thats just classic, I think it should be the new title of this sub-fourm ...that is if I recall the wording correctly. xp

This is only proof that a good script can make a bad animation good. 3nodding
It is rather cute, and I get alot of laughs out of it. lol
This one episode shin-chan is at this park with a fountion and a statue of horse's extremities, one of the horse's a** is taking a dump the other one, I laughed pretty hard when I seen it. It was a horse version of tubgirl, I nearly pissed myself laughing.(even though I was at a full bladder) rofl

Yeah. Funny. I don't like some of the obvious script changes(I sense some Americanizing... but it's Funi. What're'ya gonna do?), but otherwise, I'm laughing.

Shiarka Jonless Yeah. Funny. I don't like some of the obvious script changes(I sense some Americanizing... but it's Funi. What're'ya gonna do?), but otherwise, I'm laughing. Yeah, I don't recall offhand what, but, there were some references that seemed pretty recent and American. I think it needs the relevance to be funny though. Making a joke about some well known mayor in Juban Tokyo in the 90s is good and well, but it doesn't have the same humor to it as referencing the Govenator for instance. So I can see why they do it, but I'm also a stickler for script accuracy in anime and I'd much rather read explanations about what made it funny originally then have them change it. But you know what they say, a joke isn't funny if you have to explain it. smile

It does that in the comic, too. Alot of references to him wanting "Britney Spears right out of the shower." And Oreos. Damn b*****d's obsessed with Oreos!
