The Ant Farm (Read Psalm 139:1-12)SAlly and her little brothe,Joey, watched the ants in her little ant farm. Joey asked, pointing at one of the ants, "Why is that one digging a new tunnel? Oh! Is that one cleaning up? Ants are neat. Did Gos make ants, too?"
"So many questions from such a little boy," teased Sally. "Yes God made ants, too."Are these ants like the ones outsie,?" asked Joey.
"Well yea i guess so. I'd say they're cousins anyway," replied SAlly with a grin. "But my ant farm isn't like the anthills outside.
There you can only see ants when they come out but here you can see everything they do." She stood up. "I have to go study now. But if you're careful, you can watch my ants some more."
Sally was in her room when she heard joey run outside. Minutes later, she heard him run into his room. When she went to check on him, he had his head under his sheets, and his legs were sticking out. Sally knew Joey was hiding something when he did this. "Joey, I see you," she said. "What happened?"
Slowly Joey pulled his head from the sheets he looked like he might cry."I wanted to show your ants their cousins outside. But i dropped the ant farm," he confessed. "It broke open, and all the ants ran away."
"Oh, Joey!" creid Sally.
Joey had his face in his hands. "I didn't want you or God to see what i did."
"Well, you might have hiddin it from me, but you can't hide from God," scolded Sally. "Just like you could see the ants in the ant farm, he always sees everything you do. In fact, he sees you better than you saw them."
Joey ran quickly to his sister and hugged her neck. "I'm really sorry. Really i am," he said.
SAlly sighed. I forgive you.And God will forgive you, too." se replied. "Just remember that God always sees you. And that you can never run away like the ants did."
"I'll remember," promised joey.
