i mean you would expect them to be shown once right?noy once are they mentioned or shown doesnt that seem weird?even when lee was in the hospital dont you think his parents would go and see him and maybe its gai sensei but gai sensei is 26 so that means he had to have fathered lee when he was 13...

me and my boyfriend guessed he was from a foreign land (china) and landed in konaha due to a war there blaugh
although in fanfiction they do mention lee's parents

I think Lee's an orphan.
Now, call me crazy, but I think the theory is sound. I mean, really, they never mention his parents, nor are they ever seen... Plus, has anyone noticed how the strongest people in the show tend to have the most tragic pasts? I think Lee's tragedy is ebing orphaned...

Akira Miyamoto I think Lee's an orphan. Now, call me crazy, but I think the theory is sound. I mean, really, they never mention his parents, nor are they ever seen... Plus, has anyone noticed how the strongest people in the show tend to have the most tragic pasts? I think Lee's tragedy is ebing orphaned... True true... But lee's past sequence (episode 49) was about him not being able to nin or gen jistu wouldnt it be in his past sequence if he was an orphan?
But it would be a great story to add to his past! ^_^

Althou, I always thought that he was an orphan, or maybe his parents were killed...or maybe he never knew them...<- accounting for maybe he knew them and then they died....hmm...I read a wierd fanfiction that mentions that Gai is his father and I went ".......ew.." Ijaust cant imagine him being Lees father...whoa...

I don't think he's orphaned, I just don't think his parents are ninja. I mean, we saw practicaly everyone's parents fighting when Orochimaru attacked the village, and there was no mention of them there. Also, it would explain his inability to do ninjutsu or genjutsu.

me and Sasuke__Itachi think lee is gai senseis illigetament child(sp?) who knows. she thinks lee lives with gai sensei
there gonna have to touch on lees parents in a filler sooner or later

You guys raise a good point but then, why do these two who are bugging Kakashi look exactly like Lee!!
Come on! Now don't these two look like a man and woman older version of Lee!!! O.o well, I think one at least is a woman.........I hope......
